Riding TSMM with FP+

With all the changes involved with FP+ we are trying to adjust our touring strategy. We currently have 3 FP+ for DHS on August 5th with the first one at ToT at 10, second at RnR at 11, and third at Star Tours at noon. My question is if we get to DHS before rope drop and head straight back to TSMM, is there a good chance we can get on quickly, ride it, and still be okay to make our remaining FP+. Or will it be inundated with people with FP+ and there will be no point in even trying?

You will be fine if you go to TSMM at rope drop. You will have time to ride stand by and still have plenty of time to get to your TOT FP. You should have time to fit something else in as well.

You have until 11:00 to use your ToT FP+ so you should have more than enough time to ride TSMM.

Keep in mind that "rope drop" has been roughly 15-30 minutes before posted park opening, so get there early!

Agree with the others. We always arrive at, or shortly after, rope drop and have never waited terribly long to ride TSMM.

Thanks, I think my nephew will really enjoy this ride. We are for the most part early risers and we'll have had an early night the night before, so this should be an easy rope drop to make.

Yep.... head straight there and you'll be more than fine.

I assume it's because of the lack of attractions at DHS... but we were in California this week and rode TSMM at CA and got in the standby line an hour after parking opening and it was only a 30 minute wait. We joked about how if we were in Florida we'd have just kept walking.

Be aware that all guests are held next to the Hat stage at park opening to watch the Frozen Welcome. Position yourself beyond the Hat near the steps to the walkway or you may end up far back in the crowd rushing to TSMM.

Yes. After the CMs make a sweep of the area, TSMM reopens for EMH.
