Riding, then fastpassing

I kinda have down how the fastpass works. My question, if I get to ride X and it has a long but managable line, can I get a fast pass and get in line and ride the ride and then after getting through return and ride it again via the fast pass?

As long as you are within the fast pass return time window you sure can. We do that a lot, get to ride twice for the wait time of once... Works out well

Your Fast Pass ticket will have a time slot for you to return to ride the attraction. So, if you get off the attraction around the same time as what is listed on your fast pass, yep! you can get right back on to ride again!

I just got back last night and I saw a lot of ppl doing this while I was there. Be careful about the fastpass time however as I stood in some lines over 30 minutes and that was the fastpass line.
