My daughter mentioned to me this morning that she would love to ride horses on the beach in Floridia (going in a couple of weeks). I told her I thought this was a Mexico thing, having only seen it in Mexico. I thought I might check and see if anyone knew if this was available in Florida? Any info would be apprecaited!

Thanks
Jenn

Hi Jenn,
We did this a couple of years ago, but it is in Port St. Lucie, a couple of hours south of WDW This is the only one offered in Florida that I am aware of and it leaves from Frederick Douglass Memorial Park on Route A1A in Fort Pierce. I think it is only offered on Sundays and it was about $30 per person for 45 to 60 minutes of walk/trot riding, mostly on the beach. We had fun and if you have ridden before you would probably be fine but not sure it's the best way to ride for the first time. Here is a link to the Port St. Lucie website with the phone number to call:

Hope this helps. Have fun!
