Not sure this is the correct forum to post this. BUT I have been on hold at 407 WDW PLAY for 2 Hours and 30 Minutes to try to book a Fireworks Cruise

C'mon Disney you can do better !

Has anyone else experienced this completely unacceptable phone hold times ?

Is there any other way to book a fireworks cruise ?

I had an issue I waited 30 minutes on the phone for, had to hang up, emailed dining services, waited 12 days for a response, the response said it could only be handled at a number I had to call, called that number, waited for 2 hours and 15 minutes, that person said it had to be handled at a different number, transferred me not to that department, but to the general prompt where I had to choose an option and wait another 2 hours. Good news is they handled it for me after I finally got in touch with someone. This was all after my vacation, fixing a mistake on Disney’s part, after a week full of fixing Disney’s mistakes at their park guest relations. But good luck to you…

This is nothing new wait times have been ridiculous for the last couple of years. They need to move this type of stuff to the web and get rid of the need to call.

Hit the three hour on hold mark.

I have had long waits for the DVC line and other Disney phone lines like 60 -90 minutes. But this is my first 3+ hour phone wait

We booked fishing on Bay Lake and horseback riding. On hold 2 1/2+ hours. Worst customer service. We went through this last year when booking additional events. I am done with hearing about staffing issues. We are talking over a year later, the same problem. There are no excuses!

Sadly we have become happy with a 60-90 minute wait.

There is no incentive on their end to increase costs if everyone is willing to wait for hours on the phone to buy tickets, book fireworks cruises, etc. They are missing an opportunity to see if they can cut costs even further and push wait times up even higher without impacting revenue. It would be interesting to see what the breaking point would be, maybe 6+ hours?

I have waited on hold for 4+ hours for things that are not optional--Disney "lost" my tickets and I couldn't make park reservations, all my plans disappeared from MDE, etc. It's maddening.

Sadly pretty standard these days. In the two months leading up to our trip this September I had to call six different times for various things, only one time was under an hour wait, and four were over 2.5 hours (one over 3.5!). Although nothing will compare to the 6+ hour wait I had in 2020 trying to switch hotels when ours wasn't reopening in time for our trip. And yes, I am slightly embarrassed to admit I actually stayed on the line for that long!

My niece has now been dropped twice from calls today. The ineptness of the system is truly outstanding.

Nowadays if I have to call, I start the call up, listen to the estimated wait time then go take a nap while it's on hold music lol. But I set my alarm for less than the wait time just in case.
