I totally agree with you. Hype generates hype. That's a fact. I don't see the upwards-price-trend subsiding either. They're selling it. When they reach the point of not making money on the current business model they'll change. But from a business perspective, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." Just look at Disney's stock. For all the things I dislike that they do, for all the things that annoy me, for all the changes they make that I turn my nose at, you just can't argue with the numbers. You can't. Taking business doings personally is a total no-win. So I book what I book. I know what I am and am not willing to pay. When I don't feel right I don't do it. Disney cruises aren't the only cruises. Disney destinations aren't the only destinations. We like them (obviously) but they aren't where the world begins and ends.

I know if I feel I'm getting a good value I enjoy something that much more. I hope everyone finds that right balance and finds their happy in spite of these Disney disappointments.
Hey, don't give up on the Target Lilly! We got home from our WBPC Friday. I went to my local Target for the first time in over 2 weeks just yesterday. Low & behold there was a rack with the blue shift dress in about 6 different sizes. I was able to pick up another of the dresses I didn't get initially without getting up crazy early, outrunning the chicks behind me, overpaying on eBay, or even breaking a sweat at all. It was downright leisurely! So keep looking! I think the 14 day return policy is seeing stock coming back around.
