There are loud noises in many attractions but the only one that I can think of with gunshots is The Great Movie Ride.

Pirates of the Carribbean has some big canon's going off and they seem like they are hitting the water around you when you are riding thru in the boat. It's also dark at this point, but after that scene there is no loud noises.

Is Sounds Dangerous still open? I thought it was dark and loud. So is the start of Journey into Imagination. My niece was afraid of the thunderstorm in the Rainforest Cafe when she was 6.

Last time we were there Sounds Dangerous was closed for Star Wars weekends, hopefully they kept it closed. That show was showing its age.

People screaming on the Tower of Terror and Expedition Everest. Disney doesn't have a lot of "thrill" rides but some teens love to scream just for fun. I hope that doesn't bother your friend.

Honestly, most everything is very loud except maybe Small World. I understand this because my son doesn't deal with it well. The most frustrating is standing in line for something like Haunted Mansion and then a bunch of people scream for fun. Which would equate to crying children. But that's the way it goes.

My son is 6 now and has gotten used to it much better. Bring along some ear plugs for your friend. That will help immensely with the loud noises.

Test Track at EPCOT has a lot of bam-kachunk-a-chunka sounds meant to simulate a car factory/test facility. It is made worse in the wait lines due to the design of the building.

The thunderclap in the pre-show of the Haunted Mansion is pretty loud.

All of Captain EO is loud, but I can't remember if there were gun-like noises.

Rock N Roller coaster is very loud I have to use ear plugs to ride it you might want to try noise blocking headphones

Sounds Dangerous is permanently closed.

Test Track is currently closed for renovation and is scheduled to open again on December 6, 2012.
Nobody really knows what it will be like when it re-opens. I agree that the old Test Track had a lot of noises in the queue. I hope that is one of the things that changes.

As some posters already mentioned, there are loud noises in almost every attraction. To deal with it, your friend might want to bring along some noise dampening headphones or earplugs.

Soarin' has fireworks at the end which really sounds like you are watching fireworks very close up. My dd who is sensitive to noises like that really had a problem with that part.

I am sensitive to sounds. I can get nauseous at times from loud sounds. I carry earplugs with me. They will not block out the noise fully, but dull everything. The attractions can be loud, but most of my problems are with the line noise. Some lines with long queues can get really loud. TSM on one of my last trips about did me in.

DO NOT take her to Lights, camera, action? anyway, it is the car show in HS. Sounds usually don't bother me but I had to leave that one as my heart was racing and I felt very anxious from watching it. In the beginning these cars race around and I think we were rather close and it almost felt like my body was shaking from the loud sounds. It was horrible.

We deal with this with my 2 boys. I carry those behind the head ear muffs with me. they give them a false sense of security. But it works. they do not like ear plugs.

Great Movie ride has gunshots
Philarmagic is loud music
Muppets movie has a cannon at the end and fire works.
Tiki Room is avoided I do not remember why.
Indiana Jones show
Jungle cruise has gun shots
Safari ride at AK ?? I can't remember. The poachers scare my son.
Dinosaurs is loud
Elllan universe of energy can be loud but it is dinosaurs. This does not bother my sons.
Toy story mania my kids live but it has balloons popping and plates breaking.

A lot of the rides are on you tube. If you are not sure check on there. My kids often check out a ride there first if we are not sure. Also ask when you get to an attraction. I always ask more than one CM. because you never know what they think is loud.

If fireworks are bothersome there are places you can go so you don't hear them. I did it for years with my kids. Just make sure where you are at night because you can hear them lots of places.
