Rides that need updating at WDW

Sounds Dangerous at MGM needs updated lighting. It's way too dark. You can't see anything.
;-)

:rotfl2: Good one!!!

Seriously, Disney World is practically perfect in every way. I say leave it as it is.

There are a lot of things that I noticed needed some maintenance and painting while I was there in late October. The most glaring was the magic carpets.

Things I would like to see updated:

MK: Stitch (I never liked this when it was AE either), CoP last scene, SWSA
Epcot: JIYI, SE, all of the movies in the WS
MGM: Indy, Sounds Dangerous
AK: nothing really, but we don't go there much.

Please forgive me if I mention anyones favorite ride. My flame retardant undies are at the cleaners so be kind.

Magic Kingdom:
Jungle Cruise: I am not saying change it, the question was what needs updating. I think this one could use a lil TLC and updating.

Stitch's Great Escape: Ok, this one just needs to be gutted. DS4 LOVES Stitch, hates this attraction.

Timekeeper building: Have they figured out what is going to go in there?

Epcot:
Club Cool: They did good by getting rid of that tunnel/cave/thing where it was supposed to snow but never did. Let the razing continue and get rid of the Coca-Cola store (ie: commercial)

Wonders of Life Pavilion - Ok, they just need to do something with this building rather than just opening it seasonally or for corporate events.

Maelstrom - The movie at the end...seems most people just walk on out. Maybe it is time to put something different there. Please Disney Gods...just not another store ok? Thanks.

Studios:
Star Tours: I cannot think of anything different to add to what has already been said.

Great Movie Ride: GMR has become the equivalent of IASW for me; ie the "oh crap it's raining/hot/crowded, lets go on that" ride. I don't hate it, I just would like to see some new things...other than adding current movie clips at the end. (running and hiding so the GMR fans don't hurt me)

I don't think they should tamper with the classics.

Look what happened to Pirates!

I think Stitch's Great Escape was a giant mistake and they should start from scratch there though.

I agree..BUT, I seriouly feel that something needs to be done about Jungle Snooze.
I also think that the Railroad could use some other scenery...more Disney themed, esp in Toontown.

Stitch - Naga! Get rid of it and start from scratch.

Great Movie Ride is wonderful, but I think there are a few parts that could use some "cleaning".

SE could use some cleaning, but I love it and would hate to see it changed.

I don't recall anybody trying to "change WDW so much", but instead suggest what could make the attractions more enjoyable. Nobody is knocking you or WDW, don't take offense so easily. ;)

Spaceship Earth - Very tired and needs a complete overhaul

El Rio del Tiempo - Looks waaaay outdated, particularly the 70's era swimming pool bar

Space Mountain - A good place to start with getting MK a few real thrill rides- tear it down and rebuild it from scratch, same theme but a RnR Coaster x 5

No no no no no no no!

Never rebuild it from scratch!

For the most part, I don't think any of them need to be changed. I do, however, think some of the animatronics could stand to be updated. Specifically, Sigourney Weaver in the Great Movie Ride and Ellen DeGeneres in Universe of Energy.

Fine then- I will acknowledge tearing down space mountain may have been a little over the top- so build Space Mountain 2 or something new. My point being MK needs at least one serious roller coaster. :rolleyes1

Monsters, Inc. Interactive Show is in the soft opening stage and due to open Jan '07

Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor Comedy Club

Agree! Along with the Alien they all could use some Dr 90210. :thumbsup2

MGM
Star Tours - queue area is still OK- can't they simply change the film and have a "New Tour" with corresponding new simulator movements?

EPCOT
El Rio and Maelstrom - Que Pasa???
Journey Into Imagination or whatever it's currently called

MK
Snow White
CBJ - It feels old - and not in the way the Imagineers would want you to feel.
