Rides that are Down

I am not at WDW but as I always do I am looking at the Disney App and I wanted to get a feel for wait times and how crowded it may be already for the holiday weekend. I see that the following rides are currently down:
1. Magic Kingdom
a. Tom Sawyer Island
b. Liberty Square Boat
c. Peter Pans Flight
d. Seven Dwarfs Mine Train

2. EPCOT
a. Test Track
b. Remy's Ratatoullie

3. Hollywood Studios - All Rides Open

4. Animal Kingdom
a. Kali River Rapids

It seems that there are a lot of attractions closed during a very busy time. Is there anyone who can confirm this and how busy the parks are?

Weather is the main factor but there are times inside rides go down too.

Unfortunately pretty common these day.

Less than 30 mins later many of the lust above are running…but others are down.

I'm here now and have been all week. Yesterday was the only day that had a lot of closures due to weather. Almost every morning the ride I've tried to rope drop has been down. Right now I'm standing in the queue for sdmt and it's down for the second time this week during early entry. It has been extremely frustrating.
This has been my week:
Sunday- sdmt down
Monday-walk on rise
Tuesday- walk on fop
Wednesday- rat down
Friday- rise- broke down while we were on it
Saturday- sdmt down-- no estimated time
The ride outages have been ridiculous, I will be reporting it.

It seems to be a problem this year. I'm wondering if some of it is just the ride tech. is too complicated. I was there the week after Easter and here was my experience:

Easter Sunday late afternoon: stood in line 60 min. to get on Frozen, it went down about 1 min. into the ride, sat for a while and had to be evacuated. 2 hours from first stepping in line and didn't ride the ride. Same evening at MK: HM stopped twice while I was on it, once was for 10 min. Huge rain storm right when I got off so of course, BTMRR, Splash, SDMT were down. Walked over to ride PeopleMover and hear announcement it was down.

Next day reservations for MK. As soon as I got off JC it went down. That evening went to AK, stood in line 60 min. for Navi and it went down before I could get on it.

Next day (Tues) reservations for AK. Nothing went down and had the best day. That evening went to HS and while I waited in some long lines, nothing went down.

Next day (Wens) reservations at HS. EE to Rise, line already at 60 min. stood in line for 50 min. to have it go down. Rode some more rides, watched a bunch of shows. That evening at Epcot: Remy posted 85 min. stood in line 50 ish to have it go down. Yes, in line the same day for two rides almost a hour and both went down and didn't ride.

Did get to ride all the rides I missed at other times - Navi the AK morning, Rise Thurs. night about 8:15, posted 75 min. was actually 20 min. Remy - Thurs. morning at EE, posted 60 min. was actually 30. Didn't ride Frozen, could have with LL due to evacuation but I'm not really fond of that ride. I did get to ride Peoplemover later in the week.

Any rides that involve an outdoor segment will close due to lightning/bad weather for safety reasons. Assume Skyliner is same way. Makes sense to be safe when lightning is in the area. Doubt Disney publishes any figures on downtime to the public to be able to compare if recent experience is better/worse then the past.

Test Track is frequently down for extended periods. We have missed this attraction on our last three visits...more than once. They offer nothing to return...

TP had a couple of recent blogposts about WDW downtime, found here and here. She also compared downtime at Universal Orlando and Disneyland (California). The other parks are apparently worse than WDW.

I read that article this morning. Interesting.

So much downtime has to do with weather but not all.
