Rides stopping?

On our trip last year the Pooh ride broke down for 5 minutes. That was the only time that whole trip we had a break down, we got lucky. All my other trips I don't remember a significant amount. Maybe 1 a day if that. Always on Spaceship Earth, quite a few times on HM. POC and Splash Mountain we always are backed up at the end of the ride.

I'm at WDW right now, and have only had one ride that was "down" in my four full days here. EE was closed this morning for an hour, during my FP window. We were allowed to ride any FP ride of our choice at any time today, to make up for the inconvenience, without making any arrangements in advance to change our FP time.. The CMs basically told us to just walk up to anyFP ride and explain what happened, and we would be able to get on right away.

It was kind of cool - WDW even emailed us to let us know how to access our "any time" FP. I thought this was a really nice way to handle it.

On a normal day one or two of the rides you are on are going to have a couple short stops. Its rare to be evacuated from an attraction, but can be quite fun Certain rides at Magic Kingdom are know for their 101 prowess.... Pirates for example
