Rides for...

I've never been but there seem to be a lot of "boat" rides that she should enjoy in MK and Epcot. (Pirates, IASW, Norway, etc.)

But, if she is like my 61-year-old mom she will be on every slow and fast ride with you :)

Take her on the Peter Pan ride in MK. It's a magical, lovely ride experience! Any of the MK rides would be nice.

Is she physically able to handle roller coasters and jerking-motion rides? My mom is 60, but has osteoporosis, and can only go on smooth-flowing rides, like the Peter Pan.

I think Gramma would love ToT and RnR coaster!!:hyper:

I think most all of the attractions would be to Gramma's liking. If she is not a thrill rider, the obvious attractions such as SpaceM, BTMR, SplashM, ToT, Mission Space (for sure). But if she likes speed, she will probably love Test Track. No dips but some thrills and it is the fasted ride at Disney. World Showcase is also a wonderful place for adults. So much to see and do and EAT!!:teeth: She will have a great time.

okay lol thanks I tried begging her to go on RnR with me...even space mountain...but shes too scared lol. Thanks everyone!

Chika, my mom is 73, in good health, and walks for exercise. She LOVES WDW, I think AK is her favorite park. She does not do roller coasters or thrill rides but I have severe motion sickness so I don't do those things either. The reason why I love Disney so much is that there are so many shows, rides, parades, and restaurants that the whole family can enjoy together, from infants to grandmas!!!! Aside from most everything at AK, my mom also loves all of the patriotic things like Hall of Presidents and The American Adventure. She has travelled all over the world and enjoys WS at Epcot. She also likes all of the MK classics, especially with my 4 kids!!! Take her and have fun! She may even try some of the more thrilling attractions. If not, and you want to do them, just use FP and let her relax while others do the ride. We often have to split up on family trips and it works out just fine.....Lacee

okay thanks! she loves going but she'll never ride anything!:earseek: i finally got her on splash mountain last year lol

My 61yo sister's favorite ride is Tower of Terror. She will go on any ride, including the big coasters at Universal. We are of the same heartly stock so I would bet that I'll be the same way when I am her age. She wasn't too crazy about Mission to Space because she felt motion sickness.

In the latest WDW Vacation Planning DVD there is a grandma that said she rode ToT with her grandkids so they could have the picture. I could't imagine my grandmother doing that. They would have to escort her out of the park for foul language :)
