I know this has probably been asked a million times, BUT...

We are leaving in a few weeks with an almost 6 month old. Which rides can he go on and how do you usually go about it? I figure he can do Dumbo and Pooh, Peter Pan and most things without a restriction, (tea cups???) I am wondering about how to position him on the ride. He really doesn't like slings at all, but I don't think they allow babies to sit on laps. He sits really well with support, will that be enough- sitting right next to me, and me holding him close? I have been a few times before but taking the baby has threw me off completely.

You can take a baby on any ride that doesn't have a height restriction. When DD was a baby, we rode EVERYTHING and had a great time. She slept through most of it and we got to enjoy rides with DS.

The Mountains at MK, Test Track, Mission:Space, RNRC, ToT all have ht restrictions.

My DD did many rides in my lap with no complaints or issues with cast members.

My DS was 8 months on our last trip (his first) and he rode on our laps on most of the rides we went on without any problems.

Have fun!

We took our 6month DD two weeks ago. We rode POC, TTA, Buzz, CoP, the train, Peter Pan. We live close by so we go often and therefore really felt like we could take it easy this trip and just ride a few things. Anyway, she loved all of it. She just sat in my lap for all the rides. It seemed like a great age to go to Disney!
