Hiya all,

We are going to DLP in June with our 6 year old and recently turned 1 year old.

I just wondered whether there are many things he can go on?

Thanks for your help and advice... xx

We took my son for his 1st birthday and found there's quite a lot they can go on:

Disneyland Park: Buzz, Small World, Storybook Boats, Casey Train, Dumbo, Tea Cups, Carousel, Pinocchio, Snow White, Peter Pan, Phantom Manor, Pirates of the Caribbean.

Studios: Cars (but hold onto them tight!!!), Slinky Dog, Magic Carpets.

There's then the shows. My son loved Playhouse Disney and Animagique. He sat through Cinemagique but wasn't interested and was scared of the stunt show!

There's lots they can do, how much they enjoy it is another matter. Some of the rides are very dark and that upsets some kids. My son seemed to just like the colourful ones and the ones with catchy music. Small world was a big favourite with him and he'd wave goodbye to the characters at the end. He also loved the tea cups. On most of the other rides he just looked a bit puzzled.

The only thing I found when we was there for our DD first birthday was rude staff denying she was 1 and calling us a liar when we told them she was one and us holding up the que so I would take her passport with you.

After they turn one it's anything with out a height restriction they can do!

We went with DD just before she was one but only did one ride phantom manor we saw characters and got so much attention from every one we met!

Hope you have a great time I think it's a great memory to have of them in Disneyland Paris when they are small x

I saw this happen to a couple when we were there. They were trying to take their baby on buzz and the CM wouldn't let them on as the baby didn't look one. So the Mum whipped out the babies passport and the CM sheepishly let them in!

So I would definitely second the idea of carrying round his passport with you if you're planning to do any rides where they have the 'over the age of one' restriction.

don't forget there is also the riverboat in frontierland which is a nice relaxing attraction.:goodvibes

Eeeeek.. Our little one will only be 10 months and I'm hoping to sneak him on some rides without getting challenged about his age! We'll have to hope he takes after his brother and looks older than he is :lmao: x

My dd looks older and was much taller than other 1 year olds but still got asked. It depends on the CM Id try it
