Rides during MNSSHP?

I have exciting news to announce...I will be going to MNSSHP this year for the first time!! Yay!! I am thrilled!! We're not sure what night yet, but we will be there!! I have a question...what rides are open during the nights of the event? Are their fast passes still given out or no? I want to go on Pirates of the Caribbean because I was at the MK just 3 weeks before it reopened in June! I'm hoping it will be open, but at the same time...don't want to wait in line for hours and miss all the Halloween festivities! Any advice from those who have gone to MNSSHP in the past? :)

No fast passes are given out. Most rides are open, including POTC. I think the only "major" ride that is closed is Jungle Cruise - no offense to those who think Hall of Presidents is a major ride :)

That's great news!! How are the crowds? I have a feeling that Fantsyland will be pretty crowded and of course the Haunted Mansion!

Depends on which night. The closer it is to Halloween the more crowded it is. I went mid-october and it wasn't bad at all. Except do the later parade! It's much less crowded!

Anyone have an itinerary? I have no clue what time anything is! Didn't even know there were two parades!! That'll be helpful! :thumbsup2

We have been the last 2 yrs. and the crowds were pretty lite. We were able to pretty much walk on splash, big thunder and space mountain. Especially as it got towards the last hour. We had no problems getting on Pirates either, but since it has been updated it may be more crowded. The lines got a little long for trick or treating but they moved very fast and there is always another one up ahead that is not busy. We were there around 10/11- 10/21 both years. Last year they did an awsome show in front of the castle w/ all of the villains. Very, very cool. You are going to have a great time.

Sounds great! I've seen some pics of the Villian's show last year. I love Disney Villians! The parade looks great as well! Where are all the trick-or treat stops located? Can adults trick-or-treat too? :teeth: Are there a lot of characters out in their costumes to meet? I can't wait! :woohoo:

Are any of the rides during MNSSHP EXTRA special at the party?

We are going to be at MK for two days in addition to the party for rides but are there any that we should do because they are different or extra special at the party :confused3

I went last year the first week in October and was able to walk on to all the rides all night. If you go on to allearsnet, there's a schedule of last year's party to give you an idea of what to expect this year. I've only gone on weeknights, and I've heard that Fridays are crowded regardless of how early in the season you go. I'd recommend trying to hit a midweek party to avoid the locals.

I second that question! :)

We went the first week in October last year and all the rides were walk on.
