Can anyone tell me where I can find a list of rides that may be shut down for refurbishment or other reasons? DH believes that Carousel of Progress, the Timekeeper, Winnie the Pooh and the Great Movie Ride will not be open in the month of May. Add this to our list of frustrations including early park closings and lack of fireworks, and we are not happy campers:(

Thanks guys - the only info I could find was that the Great Movie Ride is closed until 7/29; does anyone know firsthand if the Timekeeper, Carousel of Progress and Winnie the Pooh are closed during the month of May? I will most likely just call the day before we leave but any info is much appreciated:)

About Pooh.....Disney says it's open and plans to remain so for now. Why does everyone keep saying it's under rehab? I read the post about the rumor from some theme park magazine, but I'm still wondering ... Going in three weeks and would like to prepare the girls for the possibility if it's real.

My daughter works the Pooh ride. It is going down for a 2 month rehab. Its last day of operation is April 24th.

I just saw a recent post about Pooh and the woman says her daughter works that ride and it is closing for rehab on April 24th. But another woman said she called Disney today and they made a few phone calls on her behalf and told her there were no plans to shut down - it's all so confusing.

That's ok, I would think that if word has been given to the CMs who operate the ride, it's a go. But if you choose to put your eggs on the word of someone who works in reservations...

When you get back, let me know if Pooh was open for you. :)

Carousel of Progress and Timekeeper are kind of in a regular "closed" status, only opening for peak times.

Ok... is the last day it's open the 24th? Or is that the first day it's closed? My birthday is the 25th, which is the day we're planning to be at MK, but we may have to run over to MK after Illuminations if Pooh is going to be closed.
