I can't believe I'm even asking this but is there any ride/attraction you can do without at WDW? :sad2:

The only reason I'm asking, when my family went to WDW last December I gladly went to anything my DD or MIL wanted to since it was thier first time. My wife and I rode almost every ride and saw every show when we went on our honeymoon in 2000 and I was just happy to be back. My MIL wanted to see the Great Movie Ride in MGM and honestly I didn't remember too much about it from my first trip so we gladly stood in line. Almost immediatly I remembered the ride from the first trip. Standing in that weaving line watching the same 6 movie trailers over and over and over and finally getting onto the ride. All this for an semi-amusing ride through a wax museum. I'm not saying this is terrible I'm just saying my time at MGM could be better spent on other attractions.

There were others that I rode in 2000 that I didn't ride in 2005 and until I give them a second chance I don't feel I should include them in this post, i.e. the star wars ride & hall of presidents.

I amost feel like some sort of Disney traitor for even suggesting that I don't love every attractions, so maybe if some of you feel this way about certain rides I won't feel so bad.

Thanks

The Indy Speedway needs to go, and soon. It doesn't fit into Tomorrowland, it smells bad with all the exhaust, and the wait for it is insanely long and hot. Needs to go...just before Stitch gets removed. :)

Kick Save,

You are correct about the Speedway not fitting into Tomorrowland,
and the exhaust is horrible.

Living with the Land in Epcot, Figment's Imagination, Tiki room (sorry, I almost feel bad for replying) but those are rides I will be skipping. Oh and boat ride in Mexico and Norway, and riding in the big ball thing at Epcot (went blank on the name of it). Oh and Country Bear Jamboree - once was enough. Sorry again is that un-Disney? I hope not! :confused3

I agree about the Indy Speedway. No matter how "short" the line, it still takes forever to get on this ride. Then, you have to contend with either broken cars or people going wayyyyy too slow in front of you. I had heard this attraction *could* be converted to something that had to do with the recent "CARS" movie. Hmm!

I could do without Mission Space, Soarin and all of the 360 degree movies in Epcot. Also the Star Tours ride in MGM & the tea cups in MK. :crazy2:

I'm also not a huge Space Mountain fan, nor does it hold any sentimental value for me, so we've skipped it the past two times I've been in MK. I could also skip Aladdin's Carpet Ride if not for my boys wanting to go on that ride.

We will miss out of Honey I Shrunk the Audience and Its tough to be a bug. DH and I really dont like those 2 3d Shows. Love the muppet one and havent seen PhilarMagic yet. And prob the Animation studio simply because theres nothing there anymore. And prob Dumbo and Aladdins carpets. Only because I dont feel like waiting forever to ride a ride that just goes round and round for like a min. when I can be in a line to ride something way more thrilling. Along with swiss family treehouse (its a treehouse 1 time is enough), country bear jamboree (really dont like this show to much and DH hates it period), sounds dangerous (hate this show), playhouse disney (IMHO is mainly for families with small childern) and thats pretty much about it for me.

About the Speedway...anyone else notice all the bugs!? I haven't been on that ride in years!! But, this past June my DH and I decided to go on it for our Disneymoon to watch the fireworks...what a view! There were bugs everywhere!! They were on the signs, the lights, and on people!! It was awful! The only time I ever saw bugs at Disney...well, except for at Animal Kingdom...haha, but I like those! I didn't get it! Why did they all hang out there?

I could do without Mission Space :crazy2: as well as the Teacups, Star Tours (last time I rode at Disneyland I thought I was going to puke) and the absolute WORST ride of all time, Maelstrom. :sad2: I want to know who designed that thing, so I can smack them silly!

Its so busy and crowded, nobody rides it anymore.
;)

I could do without the Lights Moter Action Show. It takes up a big chunk of your MGM day. It takes about a hour to just wait in line. Then you have to wait about 25 min. on the benches with no backs. The show is also about 1 hour.

Poor Indy Speedway. I hated that ride, buuuuut, my super petite DD adored it. (At 18 she's still only 5'1") There were so few things she could ride and for several years she spent a big chunk of her vacation standing in lines for Space and Splash just to get baby-swapped out. The Speedway and AstroOrbiters were about as exciting as it got for her and they both have the lines from heck. At opening we were one of the few families rushing to get on them!

Power Rangers - let's kick the Power Rangers all the way to Universal Studios, where they'd fit in better...

Ah how can you not like Figment ?

OK for me its Norway definately! Test track and any of the rollercoasters. Oh and Soarin cause its circle vision and that makes me feel sick. Also the Swiss Family Robinson tree.

Does anyone go on the Drew Carey 'show'? Does Disney/ ABC still owe him somthing? Or they are not sure what to do with the space?
