and how long after you yelled "get that camera off the ride or release the restraint so i can get off" did he get off?

he handed it to the ride attendant and they passed it to a friend that was still in line.

oh, i know...but it was our first time on Cat, and i didn't realize there was "the spin" .....our bad!

We took pictures our first time on Cat, we took pictures too but we didn't get yelled at.

if you took your camera on dr doom and dropped it, it could hit some passer by below. scary....

haha my dad got told off in dr doom. he was playin around pretended he was gonna take off my restraint (you know the seat belt thing that clips in)- he wasn't really gonna do it and they stopped doom talking and shouted at the 'bad man'. i was pissing myself laughing

I sure wouldn't take photos on Dr. Doom. The launch would be extremely hard to hang onto a camera! I was hanging on for dear life during the launch and can't even imagine holding a camera on that ride.

this isn't too far off the topic so i will say it here.

last year i went on dueling dragons.
the people in front of me wore the blue universal wallet/lanyard.

i told them as the rows were going into the seat area that they should stick the lanyards inside their tops or pockets. they ignored me.

half way thru the ride and on the loop, their lanyards were flying up and behind them/force of the wind and ride.

out flew their belongings.....their drivers license, hotel room key, annual pass, and 2 credit cards.........boy did they complain to the tms there when they got off the ride.

i caught the ap but the rest went bye bye. i handed it to them when we got off the ride.
i only caught the one card as it hit me in the face. you never realize how much a small object like that stings when it does hit your forehead.

Oh, I bet that did hurt! I always make sure my kids and DH put their lanyards down their shirts when we ride DD or Hulk! I can just see that exact thing happening on one of those rides.

You know, I sure would not want to lose my camera or any of my belongings on a ride, but it would be even worse to hit someone with a flying object!

i usually TAKE DS's lanyard and "tie" it around my wrist....ain't no trustin' anything!
