But again you are wording it like it is a for sure bet policy, like the website, because it happened for you. It is also bad advice to say it will happen. The website also says part of the process is to wait in a special designated area for your turn to ride which is completely untrue. The website also says the pass will only allow two guests back, stating rider and one other guest, when many have reported three guests total may come back; wrong or right? The same website that is so inconsistent that when you go to pull it up this comes up prior to page says "Rider Switch allows an adult Guest to wait with a child unable to ride an attraction and then board the attraction without waiting in line again." Then the next page says "..a child does not meet the height requirement or a Guest does not wish to board a particular attraction.." Inconsistent information from the source. If you read on 7DMT isn't even on the list. My point is, as was a PP, the website is years outdated and can not be used as a basis for information. CM at the attraction has final say so.
"The half that say you can't only asked once".............. how do you know? You couldn't possibly know my experience. Also note that two of us that have had "the no experience" have been around here and Disney a long time. We aren't newbies. I never said it couldn't happen, as I know it can since Disney is very poor about their own guidelines and enforcing any of them, and one reason is the large number of temporary employees on the front line having to deal with guests.
We all have our own experiences, you shared yours, I shared mine. None of us are official Disney reps and all we are here to do is let OP know what we have experienced so that they know what may or may not happen. This is a grey subject - thanks to Disney - with no promises.
