Hey

We are planning on going with a baby next year

Can someone explain to me a bit more how the rider swap works with a baby

I thought that you both need to queue yourself and that was puting is off going a bit

But now I hear you all wait in the queue at the same time

If that’s the case how does that work on say thunder mountain, I don’t see a waiting area there?

Or FOP / ROTR do you go through all the pre shows with the baby?

I’m not wanting to spend a lot of the day ourself in queues waiting by ourself but if you can all go that sounds a lot better

A baby cannot even be taken into or through a ride queue if that ride has a height restriction.
If the baby can't ride an attraction, the baby will not be allowed to go through the queue of that attraction.

(This is also true of any kids who don't meet the height restriction.)

So do u just have to wait in the queue alone each time as that is a lot of your day yourself queueing

The point of rider swap is to not need to wait through the queue for the "second" rider/riders.

Ok so if u don’t have a fast pass the first person waits them self and does the ride then the second person goes on with fast pass queue

However could that one ride not result in 1/2 hours just been yourself with the baby as the other person is in queues?

Yes the point of rider swap is to help families that can't ride together eliminate a double wait, not to eliminate all wait.

Use your FP+ wisely and then select any standby rides based on wait times, remember you can add additional FP+ after you use your first 3 (one at a time) for as many more as you can secure.

While one party rides the other person can be feeding baby/eating lunch, diaper changes, taking in a show or ride ect.

Yup! I y take the baby off to do something else. Sometimes I have a fastpass for that, and sometimes we pick something that doesn't need a FP.
