hi,

I need some clarifucation on the new rider swap. We have used it in the past past but that was prior to the changes.

We have a newborn so we’ll be using rider swap.

1) does every person have to have a fast pass to use rider swap? In the past only those going in the first group did (if not going stand by). The three who could use the swap ticket (the group waiting) did not have to have a fast pass reservation. Doesn’t make sense to have to have a fast pass because then why would you need a rider swap? I’ve heard this in a few groups on Facebook but have not found anything official.

2) you have 1 hour to use the swap?

3) the group waiting (group 2) is allowed up to 3 people still?

4) the second group going. Can they have a fast pass for that ride and still get a rider swap? Ie a child wants to ride with both parents.

Thank you for your help. We’re headed down oct 13 for a Magical week and I’m just trying to be prepared since things have changed.

When we went in April, you were able to bring one person back with you to use rider swap on...... I am not sure if that's correct, but the CM at SDMT told us one extra person could accompany the second ' party'. We didn't ask for any other ride though, and assumed that CM was correct. As far as everyone having a fp for the ride, the CM's didn't even ask about the second 'party ' having a fp for most rides, except on FOP and SDMT. Both of those two rides made us scan our fp when we checked in and said they were required for each in the party for those rides. Good luck, hope you have a great visit!
