So a website I am exploring, WDWPrepSchool, gives suggestions on what to do with the kids while waiting for the parents to ride the ride you are using Rider Swap for. A couple of questions:

1) Do they still hand out a pass, similar to the old-school FP- ticket, for the second rider to use? I assume all members of the party must be present for the pass to be issued?
2) Is there a time frame in which that has to be used?
3) She mentions at HS, while parents ride RnR, to "Hang out on Mickey Avenue for the kid-friendly shows." Where the heck is that???

As of January, rider swap was still done with a ticket and normally the second rider goes immediately after the first. Mickey Ave. is now Pixar Place. But right by there is Disney Junior Live! and a bunch of Disney Junior characters to visit.

1) Yes, they do. All members don't have to present, but the too short to ride child does along with someone to take them away while at least 1 person enters the line to ride. The ticket still gets in 3 people for the second ride.

2) In my experience in early February, all the passes we got had expiry dates of February 28th, so we could have used them for the rest of our trip.

3) I think this is where One Man's Dream and Voyage of the Little Mermaid are located. I assume they would be referring to the LM show and the Disney Jr show, along with the characters that are over there.

I got one on Thursday as I had to leave the Dumbo area to take the kiddo to the potty. It was good for several days. I believe it expired on 3/31 and was given on 3/27.

Are you sure about the expiry date? In the last 4 years every rider swap ticket I've ever gotten has been for that day only. They have another type of ticket given when rides break down or similar issues that are good for longer (usually printed twice a month so expire usually on 15th or last day of month) but have never gotten one for a rider swap.

100% positive. I still have a leftover one sitting on my dresser. I can't speak for what they do all the time, but I do know that at the beginning of February we received swap tickets that expired at the end of the month.

This is awesome to know! My 2 year old just finished potty training and my biggest fear for our upcoming trip was waiting in a a long line and then just as we are about to get on the ride having her need to go potty.
