Rider swap if pregnant and not able to ride?

hey everyone. I will be around 22 weeks pregnant when we head to Disney and obviously not able to ride a lot of the rides (womp womp ). We have 2 little ones and for some (or all?) of the rides we wouldn't want one of them going parentless. Does anyone know if we could use rider swap for that? I wouldn't technically be waiting outside the ride with a little one who couldn't ride....but I kind of would .

Your two little ones wouldn't be tall enough for the rides with height requirement, would they? If so, then I wouldn't call them 'little ones' - and you can get FP+ for all four of you, and have the one adult go through first with one kid, then with the other.

If I remember correctly there are very few rides they can go on that you won't be able to.... If any...

You might not want to ride some rides but most are ok while pregnant... I went pregnant and only skipped rides they warned against....

They're always my little ones . Ages 7 and 3. They were tall enough for all the rides we wanted to go on last time (7DMT, BTMR, Splash Mtn, Barnstormer, Tower of Terror, etc). The 3 year old is a tall 3.

Isn't 7 the age that they're allowed to ride alone? "Alone" doesn't need to mean very far from you. Most rides will fit three across - we did three across even on BTMRR. If it's a two person only ride and you don't want to do it, then ask. We ran into a challenge at the Speedway. Two of our kids were tall enough to ride but not tall enough to ride alone - and both wanted to drive. My third child was too small to ride and wanted to stay with me. So, my husband went with one child and then he went with the other child. It wasn't a traditional rider-swap, but they let us do it given the situation.

Well, your term was misleading, as it made me think you had two very small kids. Your best bet would be to get FP+ for all four of you, and your husband can use your FP+ to ride with the second child.

I don't think you would be able to use rider swap. the point with rider swap isn't that someone can't ride but that there is someone that COULD ride (a parent) that has to sit out with the one that can't (because the one that is too short to ride is also too young to wait alone). Due to disney's policies that person that could ride can't even wait in line with everyone else because the too short child can't wait in the line.

In this case the one that can't ride isn't too young to wait alone, there is no reason you can't just send all three of your family members in line together and through the ride. Possibly would have been an issue due to some CMs not allowing a child under 7 to ride without an adult right next to them but in your case your oldest is 7 so you don't even have that issue.

Since they don't allow it for the elderly or disabled, I doubt they'd allow it because you're pregnant.

Plan to use FP.
