Rider Swap and FP+

We have one little one who still can't ride the bigger rides, so we have to do a lot of Rider Swap. This means that those rides take us twice as long to ride b/c one group waits w/ baby, then the other group waits with baby (she'll be turning 3, but still not big enough for a lot of rides). Sometimes we luck out and there is a ride nearby she can do while the other set rides, but usually it's just a playground. The last 2 years we would just get FP instead of the rider-swap for most of those rides so that no one really waited in the line. I am wondering if there will be a good way to combine the two. Are there any touring plans that do use rider-swap? I really wish they would just put the regular FP system back in place!

We have 5 kids, so I was thinking of coming up w/ a morning plan that has us criss-crossing and changing out who has the little one, sort of like this (rope-drop @MK):

Mom and 2 Big Kids get on SM (get rider swap for Dad)
Dad and 3 other kids get on Buzz
Mom takes toddler and her two kids onto Buzz
Dad and his 2 kids onto SM
Everyone on Astro Orbiter

Boys on Speedway, Girls to meet Princesses

Mom and 2 kids on 7DMT (get rider swap for Dad)
Dad and 3 kids on Peter Pan?
Mom takes toddler and her 2 kids on PP
Dad and his 2 kids on 7DMT


ANd do this for every area. Am I over-thinking it? I always feel like we waste time with the rider-swap b/c it takes so long to do each ride. The little one also feels very left-out when she can't ride the bigger rides, so giving her an alternative would be great.

I am also wondering how Rider Swap works with FP+. We're planning a trip for this fall, and it will just be 2 adults, DD5, and DD1.

If 3 of us have a FP+ for an attraction, but one adult has to wait with the baby, how does that work? Will the 2nd adult have to go through the line again and ride alone? Or do we all go through the line together? Will they let DD5 ride again with the adult who waited, even though she'll already have used her FP+? We've never done Rider Swap at all before so I'm totally unsure of how it works.
