Rider swap 2020 info needed

Hi everyone! I haven't taken kids since 2017 when they offered paper return tickets and return time of the whole day. I understand it's digital now but can anyone explain how it works now? Highlighting differences specifically. Or link somewhere with the info? Thanks!

You will basically get the equivalent of a fastpass. You will go up to a CM and tell them you need a rider swap. Then they will scan the bands of whoever will be riding and give you a return time that is about the length of the wait time. So if the wait time is like 30 minutes, your return time will be 30 minutes later and you go through the fastpass line.
