Ridemaz

I absolutely love ridemax!!! It is a program where you select what rides you want to ride on and it creates a plan for you. It seems to save a lot of waiting time. It gives you a realestic view of how long it takes to ride all the attractions. For under $20, I think it is great tool. Escpecially if your spending a lot of money for your vacation, you don't want that all wasted in lines.

Love it!
Helps get the kids pumped up about the trip too..as if they need help.

I think Ridemax is very kewl. Yes, it works. I think the key is not to feel too bound to Ridemax. Use it to make some itineraries, then when you are at the parks if you feel like you want to go a different direction than RM then do it. Do not feel like you have to follow what they say. Use it as "base plan" and then follow it or not based on how things go.

Personally I use RM more to understand traffic patterns and wait times and have only followed strict itineraties a couple times and even then only for part of the day. :)

I also really like Ridemax. For our August trip, I only followed an exact itinerary one morning (it worked great!) but I found that playing around with the software gave me a good sense of what the lines would be like at different times of day, how the crowds build and how many rides I could reasonably expect to do in a day.

Hope that helps!

I used it for a one day commando pre-cruise trip. I didn't use the itinerary exactly but tried several different options to get a feel for crowd patterns and the number of attractions i could expect to get in. It worked great and we wound up getting in 23 attractions between DL & DCA plus the Aladdin show, Lunch Dinner and an hour at the pool, all by 9:00PM.

OK thanks, I am not a nut after all. We are doing a commando pre-cruise trip as well. going in Dec two days before 14 day Hawaii cruise and we want to see the xmas lights. You make me feel so much better--thanks

And thanks to everyone else for the info, not a bad recommendation here, Well I am 90 days out from my trip so I will be downloading Ridemax tonight.

Thanks again
John

Hi John,
You are going to have a fantastic trip! Data for your exact dates may not be available so far ahead of time. Usually, data are available a few weeks in advance. Just FYI. I still bought at the 90 day window and spent time playing around.
Have fun!
