RideMax

Your dates are in mid June, right? Disney hasn't even released those dates yet, so Ridemax can't give them to you. When Disney releases those dates on their calendar, Ridemax will update their software and then release them to you. They can only work around what Disney has done.

Just an FYI, Ridemax also suggests that you make your final plans one to two weeks before leaving because things change on the calendar and they will adjust their software as well. So feel free to play around as soon as your dates are available, but make your final plans as close as you can to your departure date.

And don't forget Ridemax has a mobile version as well so you can make plans on the fly.

Ok thanks im just stressing out over the schedule! Lol

I know, we Dissers like to plan. But Disney moves at a slower pace many times. :rotfl2:

Have fun planning and don't forget to breathe! ;)

LOL!
yeah im about to enter anxiety mode!.LOl
my dates are June 18-22 but we planned on doing 4 days instead of 5..BUT im having second thoughts since 18-19 are NON blocked AP dates and 20-22 are grad night!!!
not sure if its going to make a big difference. We plan on skipping space mountain and all the "long wait" rides in CA. except for carsland and toy story.
we are traveling with younger kids so stuff like cali scream is NOT on the list.
we also plan to take a 3 hour break after lunch n relax atr the hotel before returning.

Well, if you monitor posts here, you should have a good idea of how much Grad Nites might affect your trip. Other folks should be able to report back with crowd levels and such. As far as the Carsland and Buena Vista grand opening, there is nothing you can do about that! Hopefully someone here will report back with tips and tricks and just go into it knowing it will be busy. Sounds like you have a clear understanding of what you want to do and will have a solid plan. That is half the battle! :). You will be more prepared than most.

I was at the resort over NYE and while it was insanely busy, I had a great time. I had a plan and the rest was just having a good attitude about things. Laughing with other people and not letting things get to you. I think it will be exciting to be there when all this cool stuff is happening! I am toying with the idea of going down there shortly after June 15th just to see what is going on. Have fun! :goodvibes

We are going to be there in the same time frame, June 20-22.

First of all, I think you are WAY overthinking things. I don't mean don't plan...I love to plan, too! And a good plan goes a long way toward creating a fun vacation. What I mean, though, is that you are already resigning yourself to horrible crowds and "skipping space mountain and all the 'long wait' rides in CA." Don't do that!

You have plenty of time in the parks, 4 days, at a time of year when there are long hours. Use FP intelligently - DLR still allows you to get a FP early in the day and use it anytime after the window that day. So if you get a FP in the morning, take your afternoon break, then go back, you can use the FP then. Get to the parks early, and you can accomplish so much in that first hour or two. I am hoping that is especially true on the grad night days, since teenagers don't like to get up early! We don't have young kids, but we are coming from the east coast and are early risers anyway, so we will be there as early as they let us! We will also take advantage of the disconnect in the FP system between DL and CA, planning to obtain FPs from both parks in a given day.

Don't stress, it's a vacation! I've resigned myself to the fact that my plan won't be really set until the days before we arrive, since the details about park hours, MM, and optimizing touring in the "new" CA will still be up in the air, with it all opening just days before. But I'm excited! We visited CA in 2002 and 2006, and we LOVED it, even though others were not so impressed. So to be visiting at such an exciting time for the park is perfect for us!

Keep visiting the DIS, watching the Blog, and anticipating a wonderful family vacation!
