Any feedback on this? I won't have a computer with me - I am assuming I can get on one at my resort (GC)? Current plan is a 4 day hopper with 4 full days at the parks but also considering a 3 day plan instead. I don't want to spend too much time in line but I don't want to feel like I am racing through the parks either. Our trip is planned for 6/6-6/11.

ridemax is a great software. I have used it successfully a couple times. You will need to download it to your PC (no Mac version) at home and run your itineraries before you go. I don't believe you can download it to a computer at the resort. I believe it is well worth the money for someone who is relatively unfamiliar with DLR and wants to knock out a lot of rides with very little wait.

I just assumed I would need to load the itinerary the day of to get an accurate schedule. I have a PC so that works for me - $20 seems a small investment for saving time in lines!

Dangermouse is right - do it before you go. Your schedule will still be accurate.

And it won't hurry you through the parks, unless you go for the most extreme setting (sendng a runner etc). you will however do quite a lot of walking around the park to maximise the plan.

One way to avoid this (if you have the time) is to set your ridemax schedules up with rides grouped together by area, rather than all the big rides at once, eg space mountain on one day, splash mountain on another. PLay around with your schedules, run them a few times to find what suits you.

I really liked Ridemax and played with it quite a bit as well. In the end it got us everything we wanted done early in the day, with the rest of the day to hit other rides and use FPs. I planned/printed out a couple different versions with different starting times, just in case of delays. :rolleyes1

I was a little worried about it making me feel too rushed, but nope. It was all good.

I just went to the RIDEMAX website for more info. Good news is you can register for just a 90 day subscription (vs. 1 year) for a lower price. Bad news is that the don't do Sunday schedules (:worship: ?) - since our four day trip includes a Sunday I'm a bit bummed about that.

FWIW see "RideMax Critique Plus Conventional and Unconventional Usage on August 1-4 Trip" www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=885134

Great detailed report! Have you used the software recently and does it function any differently? We also will a 'runner' for fastpasses so will have to see how this works with Ridemax. I'm thinking we will use it only for partial days or some days of our trip.

With MM now on Saturday and Sunday then using Saturday itineraries on Sunday should be fine.

I used it last summer for scanning its advice on Nemo and how that works into DL. But we never followed an itinerary. It does function similarly as it did in the past and has some neat new features for scheduling water rides and using FP runners.

FWIW, I just re-subscribed to RM for WDW last night and have started to play around with it. They do not have any advice for Toy Story Mania yet but I am looking forward to that as the current rumor has TSM opening the week before we arrive.
