RideMax Users Thread (FAQs Linked in First Post!)

Are you going to do the rest of Innoventions as well? (East/West) I'd allow about 2 hours if you're going to do other things, maybe about an hour if you only want to do SOAT. I have friends working at Epcot so I'll ask them. By the way, I'm Gretchen also, and I always am happy when I meet another one, because it's such a rare name!

Nice to meet you, Gretchen! You're right - not many of us around - tho I do notice the name being more popular now than when I was in school in the 50's...
Thanks for all your helpful hints and for the Sum of All Thrills blog as well. You've been a real help!
We'll be doing a few things in Innoventions - but can't do alot. We're a group of 2 families: DH, me, grandson (age 7), and granddaughter (age 4); plus my sister & her 2 older teenage boys. Trying to please everyone...
This is what I was thinking:
Rope Drop (of course!)

FPV Soarin (wondering if FPV can pick up Kim Possible on the way over to meet the rest of the group at TT?)

TT for everyone - granddaughter might not want to ride, in which case I'll do the Ride Swap and save for later in the day

MS

(If FPV couldn't pick up KP earlier, we'll get it now?)

Seas Aquarium & TTWC

Ride Soarin

12 noon ADR for Le Chef de France

Grandparents and grandchildren back to Poly for a break. Teenagers will probably stay & do whatever... probably ride some more and do KP. We'll of course grab FP's for whatever is available for them while we're there. (Although DH & I would love to do the rides, this trip is all about the grandkids and our nephews, so we'll be happy to collect FP's and rider swaps - we just may not use them ourselves.)

Return to Epcot for 5 PM ADR at Le Cellier

Do Kim Possible with little ones and wander the World for a little while. Teenagers will be staying for Illuminations - we will not since granddaughter is still frightened of fireworks.

Would love to hear your thoughts.
Thanks!
Gretchen

This schedule seems good to me; you're not trying to pack too much into a short amount of time. I'm not sure when the Kim Possible sign up stations open, but it can't hurt to try to grab it on the way from Soarin' to Test Track.

OMG bellebookworm9 - Just noticed you're from Bflo - so are we! Currently living in Lockport.
What a small world!
Gretchen

It is a small world! My house is in Orchard Park but I went to school in West Seneca, so a little farther south than you :goodvibes

If you'll be returning before the anniversary of your purchase, perhaps they would upgrade you for the difference in price between a year's subscription and the 90 day price? I would email and ask. They've been very helpful with myself and others when questions arise about pricing.

I originally purchased the 90 day subscription, and before that was up wanted to upgrade to the full year. I paid the full year price, and they refunded me the 90 day price. If your subscription has already expired there is no discount that I know of.

I was playing around with a MK plan for an upcoming trip. how do you schedule a ride on the train with RM?

I was wondering the same thing! I thought it was odd that you couldn't select it. So what I did was run the plan with all the rides and looked at where my breaks fell and just planned to do it in a large break that I had. I suppose you could also intentionally put it in as a break. I noticed that the Epcot program doesn't let you select American Adventure but does let you put in Gran Fiesta and Maelstrom...odd...again I just put then in a break spot....

Yes, either ride it during a break, or schedule it as a break. It does take about 20 minutes.

When are your dates? Epcot WS only allows Maelstrom and Gran Fiesta Tour along with the "WS Tour Blocks" until the night before the preceeding week. For example next week's (March 28th) show schedule won't go up until the night of the 27th. My dates are in May, so they won't be out until May 15th. When the show schedule is published, they include all the other shows/attractions in WS.

I did notice that RM changes Epcot about a week before when I was playing around with March dates, before the April ones came up. Unfortunately when they do that they take out the "block" option for touring Worldshowcase, which I like. We plan on doing the three attractions and then Kim Possible and wandering around just to see what interests us in a four hour period of time. Unfortunately I think the timing is going to be off for us with the posting of the show schedules. We leave on 4/16 and the dates I think won't come up until 4/17 for the majority of our week. We're planning on doing Epcot on 4/24. (I'll still have a subscription to RM but I'm not bringing my laptop.) Since we're not interested in too many shows anyhow, I don't think it'll be a major deal.

Yes, you are right about when they will come out. If all you want to do is Maelstrom, Fiesta Tour and American Adventure, I would do those the first two right when WS opens and then wander from there. American Adventure tends to play every 30 minutes on the hour and half hour and there's never much of a wait. That' basically what my plan is going to be when we go: get the two rides out of the way, tour those countries, have lunch at Le Cellier, and then go around watching other movies/musical acts as we come to them.

Hi, I just ordered Ridemax and I don't see where there is an option to NOT have a FP runner. I want us all to stick together at Epcot. I didn't read through all the pages of the threads. Thank you!!!!

Last night I fiddled around with RM for the first time and everything worked fine. Now, today I can not get the original small box trip builder to click on make my plan. I have 'added' my choices for the itinerary. The icon is off-gray, and not the color to be able to click on. it looks like a dead-button. I tried to email them, but its telling me that my computer is not set to their default email, and yet they don't give me an actual email address that I could send something to manually........ help please!!! thank you!

My first question is: Did you add at least 3 rides to the itinerary? It won't let you make a plan with less than that.

Their e-mail is feedback@ridemax.com.

Ah, that's the problem then. The day I was trying to build was our late start day at World Showcase, Epcot. I only put in the CounterClockwise tour 4 hours, knowing that that will fill our day. I'll play around again. Thank you VERY much! BTW, do you know their email address offhand? thanks!

Their email is feedback@ridemax.com

Also, if you wait until the Saturday evening of the week before you want the World Showcase plan, it will let you plug in the shows/acts you want to see. However, if you prefer the blocks of time, make it before then because at that time the blocks disappear.
