How are you incorporating SUM OF ALL THRILLS into your plans for Epcot?
I've heard that it should be done at RD - & also that some have done it in the afternoon or early evening?
We'll be doing Soarin, TT, MS, etc as well as TTWC.
Would appreciate your thoughts.
Thanks.

Will you be in Epcot for 1 or 2 days? If it's two, I would do MS and TT on one day, and on day 2 build in a break right at rope drop for Sum of All Thrills, since it almost always has you FASTPASS Soarin' anyway. If it's one, I would go during whatever free time it gives you.

Only 1 day, unfortunately.
Will play around with RM & see what I can come up with for SOAT and free time.
Do you know how fast the lines build up; or approximately how much time to allow for this?
Thanks so much for helping.
Gretchen

Are you going to do the rest of Innoventions as well? (East/West) I'd allow about 2 hours if you're going to do other things, maybe about an hour if you only want to do SOAT. I have friends working at Epcot so I'll ask them. By the way, I'm Gretchen also, and I always am happy when I meet another one, because it's such a rare name!

What is the Sum of all thrills and should I think about it with only one Epcot day and kids 3 and 5?

thanks!

I'm going in May where the crowd calendar predictions are 5, 4, 6, and 4 for the four days of my trip. Is RideMax necessary? Or would following a general UG tour plan and being smart about getting there at rope drop, etc. be enough?

I've never been at an non-peak time (and last time I went was 15 years ago in any case)... as a kid we were hard-core unofficial guide touring plan followers, so I'm only used to doing Disney with an action plan at full pace! Just unsure if that will even be necessary this time around...

I would say yes. But no for the reason you may think. We went last year week after mothers day and by using ridemax we waited on average 5min for rides and walk on many. In Mexico we walked on and rode 3 times in a row with no lines at all! DD4 loved this. The big benifit was no fighting between our kids 4,7,10 for a whole week:worship::worship::worship:. Each gave me their top three rides for the day. Each knew we were using the guide to avoid lines. So mom wasn't at fault if the next ride wasn't a favorite and neither were their siblings. We also new everyone would get their turn and if we got extra things in Mom was a hero :banana:IT WORKED GREAT!!!!

Hi,

If we arrive at Rope Drop to DHS and go directly to TSM - where is the stroller parking located near there... we have a "double wide" ;) and will need to park fast and grab a FP or ride depending on the crowd.

Thanks!

From what I gather it's very similar to CyberSpace Mountain at DisneyQuest. I think your kids might be too little. There is a height requirement of 48". Here is a blog from allears about it: Sum of All Thrills

Thanks!

I am SO excited to put these plans and everyone's great advice into action in a short time - we leave TOMORROW for some time at the beach before heading to "Mickey's House" next Saturday 3/20 for a week. One more day of work and then freedom :dance3:

HUGE THANKS to all of the ridemax thread posters - I have actually read every single last one of them!! :rotfl:

Don't for get to post back how much fun you have :)

Since the crowds are higher than expected, do I need to re-run all my RM plans for next week?

agreed. i'd run them as late as you can before leaving. there always seems to be changes on disney's part with hours and showtimes etc that can affect the plans.

anyone else notice some differences in early april between RM and what the official WDW site has? a few of the days i've been looking at have had different hours for a few weeks now. wonder if RM will update it when it is closer or something.
