We'll only be at DL for one day in July (Wednesday July 18th). We only plan to hit our musts. We've been to WDW around 14 times. Is it worth it for me to purchase Ridemax?

This is our list.

Arrive around 10:00a.m. (It's the earliest we can arrive, driving in from somewhere else)

Rides:
Space Mountain
Buzz Lightyear
Matterhorn
Indy
Haunted Mansion
Pirates

Anything else will just be a bonus.

i think I'm in the minority, but I'd say save your $15. In fact, in all our trips, we've never used it and never once regretted it. Pirates dies down in the evening- we walked on no problem (like usual), Matterhorn and Pirates will give you the only real wait times, the rest you can fast pass. I'd grab space first as it seems to run our early. Then grab an Indy pass. BLAB fastpasses are always available so that's not a big concern. Save the money and buy some dole whips and churros

For us, since it is our frst time at DL, we decided to get it. If I was only spending a day there I may get it just to be able to fit in Parades and fireworks as well as everything I want to ride.

However, if you do not care about doing much more or shows, then no need to get it. But I am amazed at how much we can do most days even with a 2-5 hour break each day!

You should be ok without ridemax if those are the only rides you need to ride. You can get fastpasses for Space Mountain, Buzz, and Indy. Try to get the Space Mtn fast pass first.

I think you are an ideal candidate for RideMax. Limited time with limited knowledge of DLR. IMO it is easily worth the $15 to help you squeeze in a few more rides and avoid lines as much as possible.

I have another question for those who have used Ridemax. If I purchase it, can I use it on more than one computer? Example: I'm at work and purchase it, will I be able to see it at home on my computer there or will I only be able to work with it when I'm at work?

You will, but you only have 10 days to download it onto the other computers. hey send you an email with a link to get it and you can open it at home or work.

i think a bigger question than whether or not to purchase RideMax (& if Hydroguy says do it, i'd do it)......is the ETA at the front gate.

Sweetpea, you have been to WDW 14 times so you know how important it is to get there early. This is even more important at DLR (imo). You said you are "driving in". If it was my family we would be leaving 2 1/2 hours earlier than you apparently are PERIOD.

With the rides you want to ride, getting there at RopeDrop (8am) would allow you to pick up 3 FP & ride 3-5 rides by 10:30am. You would get to all of your desired rides (& also be able to slow down and enjoy DL during the crowded mid day).

Arriving at 10:30 (imo) sets your day up to possible failure, as rides lines are long, FP return times are spread out to 2 hours, & the heat and crowds are upon you.

If it was my family, we'd be leaving 2 1/2 hours earlier (in the middle of the night if necessary) & be there at rope drop.

Thank you for the advice but we'll (it's just me and hubby) are driving in from Vegas (I know, heard all about we shouldn't try this, but hubby knows how much I love Disney and wants me to at least experience a little of DL) We are going with the mind set that we'll be happy with whatever we can do. Even if it's just the atmosphere, shopping, whatever.

I did purchase the 90 day subscription of Ridemax and have already started using it. It already has shown me a plan to get in what we want to in the time we have. Thanks again for everyones help, information and advice.
