Having an Annual Pass to Disneyland, I did buy Ridemax just to see how it did, it is awful, here's the summary of how to save times on attractions:
Disneyland:
Arrive 1 hour before park opening, get food at La Brea Bakery, head over to the entrance, once inside the park head to Adventureland, get a FP for Indiana Jones, ride Pirates of the Caribbean, then Jungle Cruise, then go on Indiana Jones, then get a FP for Splash Mountain, ride Haunted Mansions, if you still have time before your FP is valid for Splash Mountain, ride Winnie the Pooh then ride Splash Mountain, head on over get a FP for Big Thunder, then go to the Tiki Room, if you want a little snack be sure to get some Dole Whip on the way in, then if you want to see the little Aladdin Story Telling (not to be confused with the Aladdin show at DCA), go and watch this, be sure to look at the show times, you may want to go there first and then the Tiki Room. Next head on back into Frontierland, if you want to see Billy Hill, go see it and have some lunch while you are there, otherwise take one of the ships around the rivers of America, then use your FP on Big Thunder, next if you want to go over to Tom Sawyer's Island, do so after getting some lunch, if you haven't already, it should now be about 1:30 at the latest. Now head on over to Tomorrowland, get a FP for Space Mountain, check out Innoventions, if that appeals to you, otherwise ride Star Tours, then get a FP for Buzz, now go back and ride Space Mountain and see Honey I shrunk the Audience take a ride on the Monorail if you want, then go back to ride Buzz, then Astro Orbiters if you want to, next head on over to Toon Town (remember it closes early for the fireworks and generally does not reopen afterwards, Fantasyland does), first get a FP for Roger Rabbit's Cartoon Spin, unless the line is under 10 minutes, then just ride it as the que is quite fun, one of the better ones and take your time going through it, don't be afraid to let others go ahead of you. Then go on over to Mickey's House, then Minnie, then Gadget's Go Coaster (do not wait more than 10 minutes for this attraction). If you have kids, then Goofy's House and Donald's House can be fun, then if you have a FP for Roger Rabbit's Cartoon Spin, head on back. Then watch the parade (If the parade is coming soon when you are heading to toontown, stop and watch it then go to toon town), after it is done, ride it's a small world, even at Christmas time the line will be really short right as the parade ends. Now if you want to do any of the Princess stuff at the Fantasyland Theater, do so now, next go on the Fantasyland rides, then go on anything else you want to again or if you have a Park Hopper head on over to DCA, if there are two shows of Fantasmic watch the Fireworks from Main Street (as close to the castle as possible) get there about 1 hour beforehand, watch the Fireworks, head over to see Fantasmic, if there is only one show of Fantasmic and you really want to see it, head over and watch it, then watch the Fireworks from the Rivers of America, not quite as nice, but still works.
As for DCA, I will try to post that later, I need to get back to work right now.
