ridemax and times

i know there is a ridemax thread but i thought i'd ask here to get more opinions. having a hard time trusting their plans since i am conditioned with UG and TGM. for instance next week they predict that at 11:50 am TOT will only have a 12 min wait. is that possible. i know there is leeway to consider but 12 min.

has anyone who has used ridemax had doubts at first

It's the end of August - lower crowds - and ToT actually doesn't have that much wait much of the time - it's popular, but not quite as popular as RnR Coaster and of course TSM. I don't think it's impossible that it will have a 12 minute wait at noon. Depends on the day though - is there Fantasmic, is there EMH, etc.? I've used TP and always use TGM and have used RideMax. I've decided that I don't really like RideMax plans, but they were fairly accurate in the timing the 2x I used it (June and January - but totally not needed in January).

I am a huge TGM supporter but I just subscribed to Ridemax for the 2nd year...Its a very powerful too and they have best day best park advice also...If you use TGM best days and ridemax plans...makes for a great trip...for the record I subscribe to TPs site too but I always go by what TGM says if they dont agree...try the 90 day subscription...19.00 bucks or whatever it is is not much compared to the price of the trip...there plans are based on the info you put into it...if you dont like the 1st plan it gives submit it again and you will get another option...its a powerful tool

Yup huge concern. I did our first trip and we followed UG's and TMG. It was great. Came across Ridemax and it was more of my need to over plan fix that pulled me in first.... Then it had the you pick the rides and showed you how long to expect each attraction to take and the time it would take to get from A to B that is exactly what I was wanting for our fist trip as a newbie. So I wanted to give it a try but would be scared if it did work and now I had no good plan in hand.

So I did take both to be safe I had my watch with a stop watch on it and it timed things just to see how accurate it was....

Bang on... We did get ahead at times but the expected waits for rides was with in minutes of the printed time.

I loved it and would do it again.... Oh right I bought the year sub for our up coming Dec trip

I was very skeptical....and even more so when I saw their wait times for Thanksgiving Day! But Ridemax was right on!! We would not have survived our Thanksgiving trip without it!! We went on everything-with minimal wait times!!

thanks everyone. i leave sunday and have several plans from ridemax. going to give it a try since you all say it was right on for times. will feel strange not doing TP or TGM. thanks again
