Ride swap/ fastpass+

Just so I understand:

Husband and Son have a scheduled fastpass+ for Space Mountain and 3 year old daughter and I do NOT (we go see frozen girls or something), I show my 3 year old and prove she is too little for Space Mtn and they issue us a swap pass.

Then...after Father and Son ride it....I would be able to go with my son on space mountain (with neither of us having a fastpass+ only the ride swap ticket?

Yes, cool, huh?

It just takes time...and 3yo don't really enjoy sitting around. The people mover is a great time killer when others are riding the big kid rides.

Yes, we just got back from a trip doing this method. I booked my DH and DS 6 the same FP+ experiences (which were all height requirement ones), we would all go up together get the childswap, and DS 3 and I would head to whatever FP+ experience I booked for the both of us, and if 3 FP+ experiences were not necessary for DS 3 and I, I booked the remaining FP+ experiences for just myself, got a childswap, go on the ride and then my DH and DS 6 were able to go on without waiting in line.

Sorry if this was confusing lol but it worked like a charm, and we ended up getting a lot out of our FP+

You go it! Super awesome system, especially for people with a tall-enough kid and a too-small kid.
