In our last trip- way pre-Covid- we found Lyft by far the easiest way to get around. Does anyone have any experience with this during Covid? We will be at WDW in a couple of weeks and I'm wondering if this is still an efficient way to get around.

We did all Lyft during our trip (early Nov), and it worked very well for rope-dropping and heading back to our resort. There’s obviously a cost, but it was worthwhile to us. Only place it was a little confusing was pick-up at Epcot. We had the same drivers a few times. Many had plexiglass installed, and all wore masks. We cracked windows for additional ventilation. Crowds are up, though, reportedly - it may be a bit harder now?

Thanks! That's exactly what I was looking for!

We are local and often use Uber when we are heading out for a night that we know will include drinking. It works well.

NP at all. I feel confident this made getting around rapidly and arriving earlier easier tgan internal transpirtation. We’re going back in late April, and even though both adults are fully vaccinated, we’ll still be doing mostly rideshare transportation.

Just keep in mind the capacity changes because of Covid. Regular Lyft and UberX are now maximum 3 riders, with nobody allowed in the front seat. XL is 5 riders with both companies, again nobody in the front seat.

I assume both companies are essentially saying XL are larger SUV or Mini Van Situations to get 5 riders.

Yes. The vehicle has to be an SUV or minivan with at least 7 seatbelts -- one for the driver, one for the unoccupied front passenger seat, plus 5 more. Most of the time, it would be a 3-row SUV or minivan.
