Im going to DL in the winter (late December). I read somewhere that space mountain was going to be down. Was there anything else that was going to be down? When I went 2 years ago the Matterhorn was down and I was so disappointed. I know thats going to be running.
Thanks!!

Chances are if you go around and between christmas and New Years there will be very little down other than Space mountain. However, if you go much before Christmas you I can guarantee something other than Space will probably be down. DL schedules most of it's rehabs between Sep and Mid Nov, After Thanksgiving to Christmas, Jan to Mid March/April and after Easter to mid June. So basically any non holiday/summer time.

Because the Disneyland 50th Anniv. Celebration will begin next year there may be more than usuall closed down in the next 12 months. I suspect most of the Etickets will be open but not posative. One website keeps mentioning that in october when the new budget comes out look for large amounts of work to start on everything. You will most likely encounter many buildings with scaffolding as virtually everything in the park seems destined to be refurbed and painted. I lnow the Tiki room will be closed down for a long refurb. I just read that the Jungle Cruise may also go down for a few months. I don't see that the Pirates or Indy will be down while you are there and both the Haunted Mansion and Small World Holiday versions should be going strong. Keep you eyes on the message boards for updates.

Scaffolds... bummer. I hate going when they have all that crap everywhere. Excuses to go back i guess huh. Thats what this trip is... :)

The scaffolds are all covered up with tarps that sort of match up with the surrounding buildings, so at least you don't see them.

Oh i see thats not so bad i guess... I just cant wait to ride Matterhorn... i have never been. Everyone tells me that its the best rollercoaster in the world. :)
