Ride Pictures - where???

We're going next week and will be taking advantage of PhotoPass +. I think it's great that it includes ride photos! When you're on a ride that includes Disney photos, how do you know where the photo is being taken. I see so many ride photos that look like people know their picture is being taken, but I don't have a clue when they're taken and would like to make sure my eyes are open in the ride photo. Does anyone know where the photos are taken on each ride that offers them?

Disneyland Participating Attractions:

Space Mountain
Splash Mountain
The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror™
California Screamin’
Radiator Springs Racers

Splash - as you're going down the big drop at the end of the ride
Space - when you're going through the tube with the flashing lights at the end of the ride
Screamin' - when you're in the last banking turn before the end of the ride

If you get a bad pict the first time, it's just an excuse to ride the ride again, right?

Buzz Lightyear is not on PhotoPass because you can email your pic to yourself for free. That is taken in the final scene between Buzz and Zurg, right after the spinning tunnel.

Space Mountain's picture is taken in the final tunnel with all of the flashes and lights. There are a series of right turns toward the end of the ride, the pic is after a left turn.

Splash Mountain's is a classic picture on the drop.

California Screamin's is towards the end. After the up and down hills that go over Toy Story, there's a brake run and a swooping curved drop to the left. It's at the bottom of that drop.

On Radiator Springs Racers, the pic is right before you take the dip under the rock formation...almost at the finish line.

Tower of Terror's is the first time that the doors open at the top of the ride.

The pictures are taken at the following times:

Space Mountain--right after the last turn (it turns left after turning right for many times)

Splash Mountain--about 5 feet from the top of the final drop

The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror™--the first time they open the doors of the elevator to let you see outside

California Screamin’--the beginning of the final left had loop (after the 2 end "bumps" it goes down and curves left, the flashes go off along that loop)

Radiator Springs Racers--right after the final left hand turn as you're going under the arch before the finish line

Thank you everyone! You're a huge help! I think I now know where all the photos are taken. RSR I'll have to ride once to "get the lay of the land" then pose the second time I ride it!
