Ride over and over and over...

I'm ok with these rides but now I can't tolerate anything that spins. October 2017 I rode the Astro Orbiter for the last time. The last 20 seconds it felt like we were going super fast. I couldn't stand or get into the elevator. I was miserable. Never again.

Have you ever seen the "modern Family" episode when they go to Disney and Phil keeps getting sick on rides that he never rode with Luke? Jay said that the older you get, the less tolerance you have because of thickening of the fluid in the ear canal. Turns out that Phil had the flu....

But, as I get older, I find the less tolerance I have for big rides. Maybe I should retire to shady acres nursing home and assisted living at 42 years old. Remember... those in northern regions put their elderly on ice and float them into the ocean to pass on.

Perhaps I should just get on Kali River and hope for a continuous loop! :)

It would be so much fun to have such short waits. I'm sure it will be more crowded by the time we get to go again (February).

Three years ago, right before closing, we were able to stay on Soarin several times in a row. Really enjoyed that.

In October 2019, during AK After Dark, did Expedition Everest 3x in a row....could have done more, but my motion sickness wasn't having it....lol....have a pic of just one of us on the ride....no one else in the pic.... :)

M-TH even the MK is a one-day park. We rode everything and saw all shows except Jungle Cruise and Tiki Room, and then only skipped those because my 6 yo was anxious to get back to the hotel pool. We did everything in AK twice in one day.

You need to explain this. This seems unbelievable. You'd have to ride 3 times per day, everyday, for 5 years. How'd you do this?

Why only 3 times a day? You can fit in a lot more than 3 rides a day!

I do that with the Safari- the most I have ridden in a day was 12 times . So fun!

Keeping my fingers crossed that the crowds are low for our October 8-19 trip!!!

About 10 or so years ago, we went in mid September. That was back in the day when September was pretty much a ghost town. It was hot as the devil's frying pan, and I couldn't wait to get on Kali RR and get some relief. Well, there was no one in line at all. We rode 5 times back to back. We were soaked when we got off and it felt great! My husband's mom, who was with us, I think she had her fill 2 times in.....:bitelip:

One night my sister and I got to Spaceship Earth just as her ECV battery unexpectedly died. We knew we’d have to wait a while for it to charge enough to get back to the bus, and there were only s few other riders, so we asked the CM if we could just stay on and ride through s few times, since it’s hard for her to get on and off with her crutches. They said, “Sure, no problem!” so we stayed on and ride five times. We selected a different language each time for the audio track, just for fun. By the end we were the only ones riding, which felt a little spooky in some spots!

Same here. I've gone from hoping the restrictions are relaxed before my trip in March to kind of hoping they are still in force so I can experience these short waits too. :)

(This was in reply to another comment about going from waiting until masks are no longer required to wanting to go now for the short waits, but it didn't quote correctly.)

Nah, but I'm the same way now at 46. When I was in college I could ride stuff like RnRC or other more intense stuff like Hulk over and over again. Last 10 years or so, I can do those rides still fine, but if I immediately ride them again then I start getting whoosy. So as long as I have 10-15 minutes to recover I'm ok. Getting old blows sometimes. LOL!!!

I did Soarn ten times in a row last week and loved it! A Cast Member eventually recommended I go outside and get some sun!

The Safari is a fun one to ride over and over as well.

We've been able to ride the PeopleMover multiple times in a row in the past! It's sad it's closed right now... Others include the Barnstormer, Walt Disney World Railroad, and Kilimanjaro Safaris (on a light crowd day!)

This is why I'm tempted to book a last minute trip to the Mouse. I was one of the crazies that stood in line for 4 hours to ride FOP. To be able to ride it over and over or just a 15/20 minute wait, I'm in. It's a 14 hour car drive or 2.5/hr flight to WDW for me. I'm finding DVC rentals half price at the DVC rental store. Man!! I want to go so bad. We put our stimulus check in the bank but is it "Adulting" if we blow it on a WDW trip? LOL!! Of course it is!!! We're supposed to stimulate the economy, right? :rotfl2:

So anyway, to answer OP Question. Sept 2019 we rode Everest 5 or 6 times. DH and I just kept riding it over and over using the single rider line. It was amazing. My wonderful MIL just kept watching us ride it.
You would be doing exactly what you are supposed to do with a “stimulus“ check.
Spend it! Go for it and ride ALL the rides!
Enjoy!

Hubby and son rode Expedition Everest 6 times one morning, extra magic hours, So pre-Covid. Most folks were on the other side for FoP. They also rode Space mtn 5 times one extra early morning, 7:AM opening. Kali has let us stay on a few times. We typically do BTMRR 2 -3 times in the AM. I did TSMM 3 times one AM, while they were riding ToT over and over. They also have luck in the later evenings on ToT for multiple rides. I was SOOOOOOO tempted to just get in the car and go , reading about these crazy short FoP times. We would LOVE to ride that over and over . I know crowds will probably pick up by Oct/Nov, but I'm sure hoping not too much. From what I see on vlogs/forums, you should be able to a bunch of stuff over and over, especially in the later afternoon.

It was pretty crazy getting off FOP and have a CM standing there saying "go this way to exit, go that way if you want to ride again". Did it 5 times in a row before I started getting a tad dizzy haha. The only wait was having to wait for the next preshow a couple of the times.

ETA: Was also able to do SDMT 3 times in a row at "rope drop" (not really the same thing as usual right now). Walked right on the first 2 times then had a less than 5 min wait the 3rd time. Probably could have done a 4th with a less than 10 minute wait.

Years ago my tweenaged son and I were entering MK when the bottom let out and it began to hail. The park cleared out. We ran into Harmony and got his hair cut and decorated. Everything was walk on basically and MK was opened until 1 am. We headed to Ohana’s for a nice meal and came back to a still empty park about 9. At 10 we got on Splash and every time we came to the end they’d say, you want to ride again. And we did for over an hour without getting off! Same trip next day we were ungodly early at EPCOT for rope drop with about forty other people. They came out and ushered us in for a special surprise, which was a high school marching band that must have been rained out the day before! We watched and cheered and then they took us all to Soarin and each time it ended they’d let people stay or leave. I got through the second one with my eyes closed. My son rode 5 times!
