Ride lockers? Confused

Lol - yes, it's a Kipling! I bought it last time I went based on recommendations here. Was allowed to wear it on everything back then. I couldn't remember the name, but figured everyone would know about the little gorilla ....

Lol........I wear that all the time on rides......except for the 3 rides with metal detectors of course.......

It's a great little bag that holds loads!!

You can carry hotel cards, money, cc, park pass, etc in a lanyard or pocket

Carry phone in pocket

That is all I have with me in the parks

If you carry refillable drink mug, then you can use lockers for that when doing a ride
If you are bringing snacks, change of clothes due to water rides or for little's needs for the day, rent the family locker as you pay one fee and can open it as much as you want for the time you use it

What size of a bag are you planning to have and do you need access to it quickly?

The all day lockers are at the entrance to the parks, so if you were at the far end of the park its not so convenient............there are lockers at all rides that don't allow bags if that makes the decision any easier.
I'm thinking one of those Nike drawstring type bags - nothing huge - probably makes sense to just lock-up as needed. And ugh... maybe pay extra on the water rides? Or put everything watersafe bags inside the drawstring bag... It could rain so maybe I shouldn't be too concerned about the bag getting wet lol

I e used those drawstring backpacks years back
You will need a locker for that on some of the rides
RRR is the first one I can think of for locker use

I carry ziplock bags for anything that can't get wet. The little snack size is perfect for my iPhone (6) and I can still use it while it's in the ziplock.

ok so I have one more question...even if you wear a small bag around your waist, you cannot wear it on every ride? For example, the rides with metal detectors, I cannot put my phone in the waist bag? I have to leave my phone in the locker?

We did our first stroller-free with-kids trip this past Nov/Dec. I had never used the lockers before so I was a little nervous about it. It turned out super easy! Well, there were a couple times I had trouble getting my fingerprint to scan - but that happened at HE to me twice too. It still wasn't a huge issue. The only part of the lockers that I didn't like was how many people would go in that section. A family of 5 would all go in for one person to put their bag in a locker! If you are in a group, send no more people than bags into that area.

Before we had kids, we just used our pockets - but only carried our tickets, credit card, and ID so it was easier. Now we need one small backpack for the 5 of us to share.

Correct.

On the rides with metal detectors, you cannot wear anything except your lanyard. Everything goes in the locker......it's not an issue. Lockers are easy to use and right beside the ride..........
