Please, don't think I'm crazy for asking this...I'll be 16 weeks pregnant when we visit in Dec. I haven't gone to WDW in a few years and last time I absolutely LOVED the Dinosaur ride at AK. I know it's quite bumpy, but I don't remember how much, and if it's too risky to ride while pregnant. I need your advice. Thanks!

i think they advise you not to ride if you are pregnet cause it is realy bumpey i came back from disney in august!

I was 20 weeks pregnant on our trip last month and I skipped this ride, even though I like it. It's bumpy, but thinking about the Safari (which I did ride), I think Dinosaur might be a little better. Of course, we asked to sit in the front on the safari so it really wasn't bumpy for us, and we also had the slowest driver in the world, he must have been tired or bored, he didn't even say some of the corny jokes. For me this was great since a calm ride was what I wanted, but of course you can't guarantee that.

The Safari is a bumpy ride; more like driving on a bumpy gravel road.
Dinosaur is very jerky. It has sudden changes of direction where you might be going one way, stop very suddenly and then suddenly go in another direction. You can get thrown around a lot on this ride and it is not one that I would suggest risking if you are pregnant.

I didn't ride anything that they advised not riding. This was one they advised pregnant women not ride so I didn't. :)

It is not worth the risk. That ride is very rough and bumpy. As a mom that had a premature infant I know that anythink you do during the pregancy comes back to haunt you when something happens. Chances are that this ride would not cause any damage but the guilt you feel when something does happen is very overwelming. My Dr assured me that in my situation was not caused by anything I did , but so many times I have pondered everything I had done the week before DS was born.

Save anything with a warning and do them on your first trip with the little one. Make DH hold the baby while you ride. It will be so worth it!!!

no, no, no....I don't think that's a very good idea. It's really a shaky, bumpy ride and I feel like I get bruised every time I ride it! obviousely it's up to you so do what you feel is right, just be careful ok? HAVE FUN!
