Ride closures/Planned Events

Hi DIS'ers

We are planning ttrip number 2 from Australia for late Feb/Early 2017.
I seem to recall from planning our trip in 2015 there was a list of expected or rumoured
rides to be closed for refurb and a list of expected planned events (ie marathons etc).
I have searched but to no avail. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I don't know of a list of closures that far out.
