Well, one time me and my brothers where on Dinosaur and the ride broke down when you first meet the T-Rex! I was scared out of my mind! Have you ever been on a ride and it broke down in a very bad place?

Our worst was on Test Track in the cold room. The blowers stopped but it was still cold in there.

My parents took me to the Magic Kingdom three months after the grand opening. We got stuck in It's A Small World for 45 minutes. I still cringe when walking past it.

Got stuck on Ellen's Energy Adventure, at the point when she enters the dinosaur land. Sat for about 20 minutes, then they turned on the lights and we had to walk through it and exit. We were allowed to take pictures, though. This sure beats getting stuck in "It's a Small World". That would hurt!

I was stuck on PoC and Space mountain last time we were there. PoC is extremely weird and annoying when you're sitting there for 20 minutes, smushed between other boats, and constantly being told to remain seated--kind of took away from the magic. I also remember looking up at the ceiling and it all looks like just a big warehouse. And on Space Mountain they turned on all of the indoor lights illuminating the entire track and everything looked so strange. It really just looked like one of those "Wild Mouse" kind of rides they have at carnivals.

I was stuck on Splash Mountain once. They kept telling us we would start moving momentarly(and we did) but we kept stopping. Then we ended up stopping again just before the last lift hill before the big drop. That's when they told us we had to get off. They said that the computer detected a duck at the bottom of the lift hill, so the ride stopped :confused3 . So we walked through some of the scenes to an exit and ended up seeing what's back stage at MK. There was this poor lady that wouldn't get out of the boat because she was afraid she would fall out of the boat. So they had to call an ambulance to get her out. I felt very sorry for here.

One time. . . Epcot broke down. . . LOL! :rotfl2:

We were making our way through World Showcase and they had lifted the bridge to bring out the barges for Illuminations. . . well the bridge was stuck in the up position. After about a half an hour we decided to turn around and walk in the opposite direction. :rotfl:

Haunted Mansion at the crystal ball and "ring the bell" area - DDD was only 6 at the time and the lights did not come up for 10 minutes then it took another 15 to get us out! -

Speaking of ride break downs when we were at MK this past MOnday - All the rides seeme dto be having glitches -

Splash Mtn and BTRM both down for extended times at least 2 times that day, COP and TLTA bothe very Jerky in motion - like having power surges or something when we were on them - Stitch was down and when it was back up they said at only 1/2 capacity - FP line took 30minutes just to get to pre show area.

Something was definately not right that day.

Hey, me too. Our car stopped just where the Ellen AA is fighting with the dinosaur.

I also got stuck on Small World, but that was many years ago. That's probably one reason I don't go on that ride now.

PPF broke down three times while we were on it . . . the "please remain seated" tracks in that place are LOUD. They got it moving though so we didn't have to climb out; even so I'm definitely going to hesitate to go on it again.

it didn't break down, but my very first time on ToT they had all the lights on - yes, even at the top. I won't ruin the magic, but I'll just say that when you see how it's actually done, you can't help but think "well that's pretty lame . . . " of course, I had no idea that WASN'T what the ride was supposed to look like so I had no clue what the big deal about the effects was! :lmao:

~were you by chance there in early january of this year? Because when I was on the people mover, I took pictures inside space mountain when it broke down and all the light were on.

I got stuck on Pooh's ride once.....ugggrrrrh...right at the rain sequence. "And the rain rain rain came down down down!!" over and over and over again!!! I think I'm still bitter with Pooh for taking away our beloved Mr. Toad :(

On Tuesday at a trip to Animal Kingdom, the cm's told us that Expedtion Everest was down and told us it could be 5 minutes or 5 hours until the ride was fixed. We stayed in line for about forty five minutes watching hordes of people leave the line and listening to people complaining to the cm's. The fast pass line had become a mile long. Then, after an hour, we got to go on!!! It was well worth the wait.

Luckily, Whenever I was on a ride that broke down, it started back up. The most break downs I've had on a ride is Splash Mountain. Yet, it's pretty old.

I was on Spaceship Earth once in the part near the end where you're facing backwards when it continually stopped and started about fifteen times the whole way down. I think I actually gave up eventually near the bottom and walked off the ride before the exit even though you're not supposed to do that.

More recently, I was on Star Tours when the ride shut down and started over, but that was actually amusing, because the robot pilot gave his speech in the beginning about how this was his first flight for a second time, and everyone in the room cracked up laughing.

At Cedar Point we got stuck 3/4 of the way to the top of the huge/first hill on Millennium Force. I don't do well with heights, so just looked at my feet for the 2-3 minutes we were up there and tried to keep my mind off the situation.

I would not ever, ever, ever want to be stuck up there and have to walk down!!!

I wonder if the Splash Mountain broke down at the top of the plung. That would stink!
