Ride advice internal injury recovery.

I'm surprised he'd ok slower coasters but not ToT. Tot only has the g-forces which don't seem that bad to me but it is super smooth.

MMRR has that scene in Daisy's room where the ride car moves side to side very vigorously - I think you want to ask for the last train car which exits that room first in my experience. At least it is less shaking but won't prevent it.

You had originally mentioned rides with G's like roller coasters. If he hasn't ok'd Big Thunder M. or test track (two of the tamer rides really), I wouldn't try any of the coasters. GotG, Tron, Everest, Space Mountain, are all more vigorous. 7Dwarves is like a shorter version of BTMRR.

I think it's a really difficult spot the doctor has left you in trying to figure it out. I think everyone is going to advise being cautious because we don't want to mislead you. I don't see a clear guideline in what your doctor has advised with the rides he said not to do....I think it rules out many rides.
I think he was really grasping for straws on ride recommendations. Where he was being honest was the gets in a severe car accident, rolls a 4-wheeler, or plays tackle football. We are more northern so Disney would not be a normal local consideration.

Thank you, thank you, thank you your post was really helpful. I don't think he knew entirely what to say when asked specifically and he did ask someone else in the office. She is banned from contact sports for the year but like I said he approved her to resume diving as long as it was from the lower platforms. And diving contains twisting and occasional smackdowns. And the 'she looks great we don't need to see her for a year' also puts things in a different perspective. But your post gave some great tidbits.

She is not expecting a tremendous amount of rides, she does not even know yet that he released her to do most of the park with some restrictions. She did not have surgery and has zero tenderness. She is happy with anything never been a grumpy teen. Everyone is going on the original extreme restrictions he gave her at the hospital 10 weeks ago. He even said with the way everything looks he doesn't even need to see her again till June of 2024. Are you saying that Big Thunder itself did not bother you, only the lap belt hitting your incision?

Yes. The ride is less rough if you sit with someone (less moving around on the seat) the lap bar was my only problem. And I quickly learned to position something between me and the bar, such as a cross body bag that I had on.

I'll give you a list of the rides I would be willing to ride in this situation, given that my doctor has allowed resumption of diving and given examples of things involving blunt force trauma (accident, football, etc) as things to avoid. He has also told me I'm good to go for a year without seeing him. You listed some advised restrictions as well.

Flight of Passage
Navi
Safari (first 2 rows)
Spaceship Earth
Soarin'
Living with the Land
Remy
FEA
Toy Story
ROTR
MMRR
Maybe Star Tours?
Jungle Cruise
POTC
HM
Peter Pan
Pooh
IASW
People Mover
Carrousel of Progress

This is without ANY coasters, but if you want to try the smoother ones: SDD, 7DMT, MAYBE even GOTG and Everest.
I've ridden all these several times and never felt like someone hit me, nor felt overly jarred (like on SM, for example).
Before anyone wants to give me any grief, these are what I would do, given the information as I understand it. It's my life, I'll do what I want! :drinking1

Maybe I'm old, or maybe I'm just wrong, but I swear Pooh is rougher after Covid. It's a pretty rough jarring around and there's pretty much no way to brace yourself. Especially with healing injuries, it's one I would avoid.
