Has anyone taken the ferry between Sandusky and Leamington, Ontario?

My family usually plans a Cp trip end of July or Beginnig og August so I can kill 2 birds with one stone.

We do want to go to CP anytime, but I have to check DH's schedule.. he has five weeks he needs to pan out!

I did not vote, but I would like to go. It is really going to depend on the Canadian dollar for me. Any weekend would work for me though.

I voted. I guess I should have consulted Will first. If possible, we would love to come. I voted (for both of us ), that we could come any weekend except the 9th of August. We'll be in WDW then (he knows about that, just not this ). We also have a meet planned in Wildwood, NJ for July (yes, he knows about that one ), we just aren't sure which weekend yet. I hope the meets aren't on the same weekend.

And .......... I have a plan to get another DISer there! They don't know that yet. Oh .......... neither does Will. I better get off the computer now before I get in a lot of trouble.

Mickey - we quite nearly met in Toronto a couple of years ago, but you got in a car wreck! I hope it works out this time!

Julie - I bet we can find some info on golfing there....Towncrier, do you have any ideas??? It'd be nice to see you again.

Fire - does your family stay there or do you commute? I wonder if you can tell us anything about the hotels there?

My family usually stays at Travel lodge or in caseof last few years Dusk to Dawn motel which is like 5 min from CP causway. I like the dusk to dawn b/c you can get 3 dbl beds to a room which is not something you find in a lot of hotels.

I've finally voted! I did vote for every weekend though because I'm pretty flexible You just say when & I'm there!!!!
Things may start coming up as it gets closer, but if we have a firm date we'll plan around it.

Hey, I think Heather has the right idea!!! WDW!!! I am so glad so many are looking at plans. I think CP is about a 14 hour drive for us, but if it doesn't conflict with moving, we'll be there!

I'm not a riddler, but I am only about 30 minutes from CP, so I'll be keeping my eye on the date y'all pick. If I can, I'll drive up.

Oh, and I'm local, so I may be able to gather some info for you as far as lodging is concerned. Bernie, just let me know what you need in a PM and I'll be glad to do a little research for you. I am in Sandusky at least once a month.

Not a golfer, but I'm certain that there are plenty of courses around Cedar Point as well as the Greater Cleveland area. If someone is interested in golfing around Cleveland, I could ask my golfing friends at work.

This is shaping up to be one of the larger (if not the largest) Ohio DISmeets yet.

I'm not a Riddler, except for once in a blue moon, but we may consider this one, too. It sounds like it will be a great turnout! I won't vote, but I'll watch for the final date decision and go from there.

I voted for July 12,19 and August 9th. The other two weeks are the beginning and end of my vacation in NH. Can't promise 100% that I'll make it, but I'd try hard to get there ..... and if all else fails I'll give you my number so you can call and say hi
