Good morning riddle friends !!

I am off from work today - 4 day weekend - woo-hoo !!
So I get to play a little today ... but just for a bit 'cause I'm off to Six Flags today..... hoping to survive Superman - man of steel !!!

Hope everyone has a great 4th ... other than the amusement park today my weekend is unplanned... I'll be going in search of some fireworks tomorrow night - shouldn't be too hard to find !!

That stinks about having to work tomorrow OK .......we have rotating on-call and when I was on last week my sister asked me if I got paid extra for that ... I told her she had a great sense of humor

Hmm .... is Bill a clue ?????

Good morning OK and the Corral

Lorriane, I make chocolate, mint brownies for covered dish suppers. They are requested and people like them and they are easy to make. If you want the recipe, let me know. It is a brownie with a layer of mint buttercreme frosting covered with a chocolate glaze.

As far as plans, I am driving people places, and me crazy. Tonight are the neighboring town's fireworks, but we will be taking DS to New Jersey to stay with his cousin at the cousin's grandparents. Tomorrow we get DD from camp. Our towns fireworks were canceled because the park where they are held is still too soggy from all the flooding. May go to another town's parade on Saturday they get my mom for the night. A lot of the plans are still up in the air.

I am going to go shower. And now I have pants to put on when I get back.

gina, it was really nice!! Hot but, nice. Spending time with my parents and kids, 3 generations, ALL young at heart!

Bernie, out of ALL the pizza places, we tried 2 of them! Imagine that, in Chicago! ONLY 2!

diane, the BIG show is tonight also, after the 'Taste', with the fireworks. I've never been on those nights since, I get pretty nice accomodations at the suburb where dh works! (Park Ridge) and, no, I'm not a night worker, just a sahm who sometimes finds herself IM'ing with people (DISers) from around the world with different clocks!

Morning Riddlers!! I'm in a bit of a rush again as usual.
Lorraine, I'm always in charge of desserts too. Everyone's favorite here is the strawberry pretzel jello cream cheese cool whip dessert and homemade brownies with homemade icing.
The icing has a tiny bit of instant coffee in it, Yummy!!

We are driving up tonight to pick up DS and DD at their grandparent's cottage. Tomorrow, we will hang out there for a while, and then go see fireworks downtown.
