Morning all!

Diane, sounds like a heck of a storm!! I hope there was no real damage done around you. Good luck with the storms today too... I guess I prefer summer storms becuase where I work there is no such thing as "snowed in" they make you go to work unless under a Level 2 or 3 snow emergency, and even then it is looked down upon. Thank goodness we usually don't get that much snow. I just hope today's storms aren't bad for you.

Val, continued prayers for your mom. I do hope they can let the both of you in today to see her. I also pray that she recovers soon and can go back home quickly.

Steph, in that case, I say NO it is not too early to mow your lawn. I am up and showered by then anyway Do you have a noise restriction around where you are?

Carol, again, glad you made it through everything just fine.\

LTM, I love those guys too! Funny thing is that on my last two recent trips, they were about the last thing I saw at Epcot before heading off to the airport.

I am like a few of you... there are clues here???? I'll have to ponder some more.

The good thing about these stroms, is that they are quite scattered. It might be damaging winds and 7 inches of rain in one spot, and a mile away....nothing! There were dozens of tornados out there last night, but we were lucky.

'Morning, Elaine! Our snow crews are so efficient up here that it takes on heckuva storm to close the city down. It doesn't happen often. In fact, the kids have had more days off because of bitter cold then snow here lately!

Good morning all! I've sent a pm, but I don't think I CAN wait around for my pants today, although I have sent a pm.

I'm off to meet one of the other members of our parent council to choose a gift for our principal. We just found out that he's being transferred to another school next year and NOBODY is happy about it.

Gina... where were you when I was folding all the laundry last night?! You should have been HERE working on the riddle answer! LOL!

Valerie - I am continueing to keep you and your mom in my prayers.

I got NO computer time last night as I spent the whole evening doing "chores". Ended up getting to bed quite late as well. DD is having a friend over this evening to spend the night... so her room has to be clean (my rule) so guess what she waited to do until 8 pm last night??! She ended up staying up LATE getting done... and of course I did too... because she needed my help with her fish tank (which was gross) and washing her bedding (not so gross) and vacuuming (because she does a gross job! LOL!). Had to pay bills, fold laundry, water the main garden, and sorted through about 3 days worth of accumulated mail. So tonight.... I am declaring NO WORK. Of course I will have another 11 year old girl bouncing around the house. Hmmmm.... guess I may not get much sleep tonight either.

Diane, glad that so far you have been lucky. I hope it stays that way today.

Bernie, the thing in my area is each actual city (suburb city) that I drive through is different in how they clean. Where I live is great. The city of Columubs is great but the two other cities I drive through are terrible for snow removal.

Just when I get a few good hints via PM, John comes in with some great ones And I saw that Lorraine & Kathy snuck them in too

Off to do the one tiny thing that I have to do today for work... I am beginning to be bored by the slower times we are having. It seems to go that way too... hills and valleys. Maybe someday we will get a 'happy medium' Enjoy the day all!

Hello, riddle friends! It's another HOT one here today, in the 90's! Then, tonight the storms are supposed to roll in, as a cold front passes through...I hope the storms are not as bad as what you have had, Diane!

Bernie, I like the look of the B&B spot today! I love Victorian-looking places like that! Just wondering...have any of you ever gone to Macinac Island? I would LOVE to go there and stay at the Grand Hotel. "Somewhere in Time" is one of my favorite movies!
