As some of you know, I have been having computer problems. This morning I had to restart the computer twice before I could post. IF that hadn't happened, I could have had LPP and FPP and John would have been pantless. SO........maybe it is a good thing the computer restarted.
I had the same problem today, Carol! You must have sent me your rain, and I sent you my computer problems!

Ummmm, Carol - I think some might pay you good money to delay, if it will keep John from running around here pantless! :)

In my parlance, Gaspode - a banner day is a very good one! :)

Sandi - she's at AKL??!!! Way cool! I'm going to make a point to take a tour over there next time we go! All of the photos I've seen look spectacular! :)

Have a Mickey bar for me, Gaspode! I really don't have that long to go before our next trip either. I have been thinking about it a lot lately.

Morning all

Sunshine here AGAIN - YEAH

Finally got the yard mowed to the same length and it is dried out - of course I have mowed it 3 times since last Wednesday

Clueless here

Have a nice day everyone

Len!

Oh, guess where DD is right now?? Animal Kingdom Lodge!!
We LOVE AKL! We stayed there one night a couple trips ago and usually go to the buffet there. I love the grounds. WL used to be my favorite resort to roam around, but AKL has taken that place now.

Gina, you really made me laugh at the "playing possum"! I always do just the opposite! I try to be first up and in the shower!

Normally I do also, Diane. But up and showered at 5:30 is a bit much, doncha think??? :p

It may come to that, though. I really don't mind. We shall see......:)

Boo :( Diane got the 42nd (answer to the life, universe and everything!) post...

Ah well, will settle for the 45th or 46th whatever this one comes out at!

Can you tell I am avoiding work today... tsk tsk!! ;)

Marla - it's quite possible you saw the answer to todays riddle whilst out mowing!!

Cya,
Gaspode

Sure did Diane! Thanks....

things just clicked from there..or was it clipped???

I can relate to no early morning fun Gina, starting tomorrow, one of Patrick's friends from school will be joining us each morning at 6:30......his mom asked me to babysit for the summer...

SSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOO

I will have a total of 7 kids (the max allowed without a permit). It's not as bad as all that though, the 4 oldest are all 11, so they need little supervision.....not quite old enough to be left alone yet, but still fairly independent.

The other 2 (AJ and his friend) will be the challenge, at 7 they both want to hang with the big kids, but are still a bit too young.

and of course, there is miss meg...who will have all of them doing her bidding by the end of the week.

Keep reminding me.....I'm doing this for the summer to finance my WDW vacation in October!!!!!

To get here by the time all of you folks do, I have to be out of bed by 5:00 AM!

Don't forget the sunscreen, Lorraine! :)

Three mowings, Marla! WOWZAH!!

It sounds like you have some interesting days coming, Stephanie! :)

The being out of bed is easy, Diane. It's the hopping in the shower knowing someone is anxiously waiting to go next!

GOOD MORNING OK AND THE WHOLE CORRAL

another Monday, another bright sunny day. DS and I went to CFB Trenton on the weekend for the Quinte International Air Show, absolutely awsome. Had a great time. Baboo had to work and kept thinking what a beautiful sunny day we had.

problem was, I think we were in the only part of Southern Ontario to get rain.

It varied from misty to downpour all day. We could see blue sky way off in the distance but it never arrived til the end of the day when the Snowbirds went up to perform.

In the end it didn't matter we had a blast and now off to work I go.

It was very hot and humid here between the storms yesterday, but I did get time to mow around some of the little evergreen trees planted out at the new place. A tough job when the grass and weeds around them were about 2 and 1/2 feet tall! I have to use a regular push type mower, because it is too bumpy and long for a rider. I was really wiped out last night!

Hiya,

Have any of you heard of the Wombles? A childrens show from the 70s/80s (I think). Did it ever come to the States?

Many thanks!
Gaspode

I love air shows, Len! Sounds like you had a blast!

Wombles??? Nope....not here to my knowledge, Gaspode! Now Teletubbies on the other hand......:p

Never heard of it. That would have been the time frame my kids were in. We didn't have cable then though, so maybe it was around somewhere.

Sorry to hear you had rain, Len - but glad you enjoyed the show noe-the-less! :) I saw the Snowbirds several years ago....they put on a great show! :)

Gaspode - I don't think I know the Wombles....I do remember that Matthew's favorite from the early/mid 80's was the Popples!

Man, Diane - you are working hard out there! :)
