Ya' know - it occurs to me that we have a lot of little traditions and acronyms here on the riddle. People looking in must think we are a very odd bunch! I think I'll put together a Riddle Me This dictionary and link it in my siggie!

I think those little traditions are the fun part of the riddle. I can remember when you didn't yet do the shower curtain! I like to comment on the curtain, and I try not to miss that! It is MY little tradition.

This is sooo true! I really thought - WHAT are these people talking about! Especially when you are giving clues (and I didn't realize that is what was going on ) But once you start figuring it all out this is a FUN place to start the morning!

Just curious - am I the only southern riddler here? Everyone else seems to be from the north.

Formerly she was the lead singer of Welsh band Catatonia (you will hear me going on about them from time to time *g*) but they split two years ago and she has just released her solo debut album 'Cockahoop' which she recorded in Nashville having 'fled' to the states to get some time on her own.
You may well have heard of her stuff...?

Everyone is leaving......including moi! Off to the World tomorrow...a quick, long weekend jaunt!

I might not be around the rest of the week either. Things have been VERY busy around here, and my 45 minutes on the riddle each morning are about the only DIS time I take anymore.

They are suposed to start drilling our well this week, so the contractor wants me out on site when they start to do that. Last night I had to go mark where I wanted it. Now don't laugh, but I divine for water. I said "Don't Laugh"!!! Any way. I went out to do that last night, and it looks to me like our well might be about 300-350 feet deep! DH said to be sure I didn't tell the contractor that or he would charge more!

Hmmm....southern riddlers......other than AlabamaAlan, I think we are mostly from the northern part of the country....well...then there is Marsha, does Arizona count as south???? no???? well tomorrow it will......tomorrow....whatever I SAY GOES!!!!

Ellen - CarolG was a southern riddler - they blocked access to the DIS at her work. Chipperdini sometimes stops by here and she lives in Georgia. I think I'm missing someone else who riddles from below the Mason-Dixon....

You can't keep Cerys!! She be lovely... and Welsh, and belongs over here! I can't wait to go see her the week before we fly to WDW.
Anyways, I could tell you some more info on her album if you like. It was produced by Bucky Baxter (who worked with Bob Dylan) and is apparently (I have yet to receive mine but have heard two gorgeous songs off it already) very stripped back and folk sounding with lots of instruments such as banjos and woodwind instruments.
If you get chance to hear it, please do! (but just don't keep Cerys and throw us Madonna!)
