Merry, I hope the weather holds up for them today.

It is a really slow day at work. Usually I enjoy them but I guess I am so used to being busy that I actaully get bored on my slow days now Oh well, I'll just have to take a long lunch or something

Not only is it Poet's day, but's it's National Ride Your Bike to Work Day, and Hug Your Elders Week.


This evening I'm going with my 9 yo son on one of the coolest school field trips ever. We are going to a local park after dark to catch and identify frogs. I'm really looking forward to it.

Indyman, that sounds like fun. My son got a kit for his birthday where you send away for a tadpole and watch it grow into a frog.

Had to search a bit for this today! Prom went very well last night! It was fun, the parents of one of my son's friends had a "pre-prom picture party", so all the parents were taking pictures of all the kids before the limo came to pick them all up! I have NEVER seen so many cameras w/o there being a celebrity there! My son didn't get home from the after-prom activity (they went by bus to Chicago to, of all places, ESPN zone!!!) 'till about 5 a.m....I was in/out of sleep last night, so hope to sleep well tonight!
