And Lars and I can beat that by THOUSANDS! I figure my DVC has paid for itself long ago. We have been members for 7 years. Before that, we were spending 6-7000 a trip, and now we only pay the incidentals and travel and a few maintanance fees.

Wow! I must say that even $6-7K per trip would have been a lot for me. I think the most expensive trip I took was just the two of us for Polynesian Concierge Lagoon View (honeymoon) and that one was about $4-5K... $3K was room alone though My last trip was about $1500 I think and I didn't hold back at all. DVC looks good sometimes but I don't think Luis would go for it.

Bernie, I cheated... I went and priced out a trip to WDW. Not knowing your preferred flight times or anything like that, I still got a quote of $24,252.74 My own car isn't worth that much!!!! I also racked up less in student loans over 4.5 years than I would on that trip. Geez!!! I wonder if anyone ever really takes a trip like that.

I haven't spent that much ACCUMULATED for the three trips I've made to Disney!
