Well, the roofers actually came yesterday! It started out a bit windy for them, but the day improved as it went on. It should be nice again today. We have had a beautiful week! It is supposed to rain toward the end of the day tomorrow and again on Sunday, but the week has been beautiful. For a change, I am almost relieved when the rain comes on the weekend instead of during the week! It means the roofers should have no excuse for staying home!

You mat have noticed my post about Carmelo Anthony leaving Syracuse University to turn pro. It's THE BIG news story around here this morning. I'm really pleased for the kid - I hope he earns a ton of money and has a great career. He really seems to be a one-in-a-million kid - a very talented individual who knows and appreciates the value of being a team player.

He'll certainly be missed, but he did bring us a championship, along with earning Big East and national rookie of the year. Not much left to prove!

Good morning.. I don't know the answer.. but yesterday's.. I thought Eisenhower but I do not get how to do that.. the i is in the hower thing... so I thought I did not have the right letters.. I am really not good at this.. wahhhh..

But anyhow.. Happy Friday all.. I am heading to Cape Cod to meet with the builder today... buying the appliances etc.... and getting out of Dodge while this house is being shown.. I hope I make it through all this without a GERD attack.. sometimes when I get stressed it happens.. So keep your fingers crossed for me.. and hopefully you can visit me on the Cape for those coming for Glo's Labor Day bash.. Hugs..

My mom is still in CCU diane, but the doctors are confident the surgery went well and that my mom will have a good recovery. I jsut wish I could be there to see her, but maybe once they send her to re-hab I can get in.
