Steph - we're going to color eggs on Saturday. We usually do a couple of dozen eggs. The Easter Bunny hides them in the house when he delivers the Easter baskets.

After Mass, we'll have our neighborhood egg hunt outside, weather permitting! I do hope the good weather makes it here for Easter, Diane!

Monday we start with road problems around here at the old place again! It will be nearly impossible to get in and out most of the summer! I wish we could have been into the new house BEFORE this started again!

The houseing snafu actually has to do with the old place more than the new one. Our buyer is backing out, and with the road being inacesseible again, it will be difficult to put this back on the market. He decided the city cut down too many trees in the marsh when they put the sewer line in.

I have a request of my riddle friends. Some of the riddlers that have been around forever may remember back a few years ago my mom had some pretty serious surgery. The neuro-surgeon at the time was only able to do half the surgery because of complications. He had promised my mom that he would finish it in 6 months. Well, he changed his mind and said the surgery was way to risky. So my mom was left wearing a neck brace to support what was left of her neck muscles and nerves. She has been in constant pain for the past 2 years plus. My parents fianlly found a doctor who will perform the rest of the surgery needed to help my mom. Again, it is very risky surgery. They have talked with the family and said there is a chance that something could go wrong. The first part of my request, please keep my mom in your thoughts, that everything goes well. Second part, the surgery is in Toronto, at one of the hospitals that has had SARS deaths. I am worried about my mom going there and concerned that my dad and I will not be able to get in to see her after the surgery. Please send some positive vibes that everything with this will be ok too. The surgery is next Wednesday, but I am going down to my parents on Monday.
